No change in weight today! Our bodies are funny huh? I'm on an 800 calorie diet and I'm exercising and I didn't lose a thing. I'm sure my body chemistry is adjusting, water levels...etc.

Well our body starts to conserve calories at very low levels. It will continue but it may be more difficult

Day 14: Had my second weigh in! All is well. Took a quiz to determine my strengths and weakness. Nothing shocking came of it. I'm a bad nutritional planner and I don't have a recovery plan! Both, are going to be my focus on becoming well and staying there.
current weight 225.9
Total loss of 13.6 lbs. - I have been on the plan 2 weeks today.

That is very exciting bbarber! Drink loads of water and get a hobby to keep your mind and hands busy. You can do this. I'm having a hard time getting all my shakes in during the day. It is only 16 weeks - that time is going to go by no matter if you complete the program or don't. Just imagine yourself completing it the entire time! Eyes on the prize! It really is the easiest diet I've ever done. No thinking, no choices - just routine routine routine. At the end you have a clean slate, no sugar, fat or salt addictions to deal with. You can start all over, and create a healthy relationship with food. I applaud you for doing this! You will feel so empowered every single day. I'm cheering you on!!

Day 15: Why is this so easy? It really is easy. I have a hard time getting all of my shakes in. I no longer have cravings or think about food all the time. I try and work out (walk on the treadmill or do some weight training) for at least 30 minutes a day. I love to push weight around, it makes me feel strong! I don't mind walking on a steep incline on the treadmill while watching some silly show on TV. I feel great!

I must say I truly feel great about preparing myself for this. Being able to read your day to day and hear how you are feeling, makes it very real. I'm not reading some story on their website, its a real story. I have enjoyed reading your daily blog and watching your progress. 16 weeks will fly by, I know that. Just gotta take it day by day. I meet with my doctor on monday to go over my bloodwork/ekg and get myself ready for my fresh start 1/8/15. I'm really excited! and I'm glad i know i have someone i can talk to that will really understand!

Thank you so much! I'm glad someone is reading it! As you can see from my blog it is much more of a mental thing than a physical thing for me. I hope that you will also keep track of your progress so that I can follow along. Sometimes I feel all alone out here. I'm the only one is my program. It is great for all the one on one and custom advice I get, but it is lonely. I have to surf the internet to find other people going through what I have gone through. Or try to find what to expect. I didn't find a whole lot of daily advice for anyone that was going through the program so I decided to give that insight to others who are thinking about it or who are on a similiar journey.

Day 16: Maybe I spoke too soon. I struggled a little bit yesterday watching my boyfriend eat chinese food. Oh how it smelled so delicious. I held the won-ton soup up to my nose and just breathed it in to pretend like I was eating it. I made it through and the scale rewarded me thing morning!

oh i couldn't imagine being the only one in the program! My program will have 20-30 people in it and we will do 30 weeks together. then based on where we are, will be the next group session we go to! I'm excited. i have done a lot of research online trying to find someone elses experience as well. n oone really has done any day to day blogging. just a week here a week there and then they drop off. i will definitely be documenting it everyday just like you. something great to look back on when i'm feeeling discouraged...like seee, if you could make it through the first set of days, you can do it!

so thank you again for blogging. it definitely has gotten me more and more excited and mentally preparing

Day 17 & Day 18: Weight Gain and then loss.

I'm still not sure how someone as overweight as I am can gain weight while eating 800 calories a day and exercising for an hour? But, I did! I went from 224.9 to 225.4. I know, I know...not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but it feels like a lot when you are working hard at losing. Well, today I am 224.7 - so I lose the gain....and I didn't go to the gym yesterday. Hmm....

Starting Weight: 239.5
Current Weight: 224.7

bbarber - it makes it all worth it to see a post from you on here! When I don't feel like blogging, I will for you! Thanks.

Don't be discouraged if it goes up in a day. That's normal body weights fluctuation. That's why you weigh in weekly

You are doing great! Keep it up!

I meet with my physician today. The main doctor that over sees the program emailed me last night and said all my tests look good.

Guess it's time to think of a blog name and get ready to start blogging like you!

I feel like I've found the perfect accountability partner.

How much are you working out daily? What day did you start working out?

Thank you! I gained again today...225.0. It is frustrating!! I'm trying not to be frustrated, but you know..

I would love to be your accountability partner!! Let me know when you have your blog up. I will definitely follow.

I started working out on the very first day! Just walking on a treadmill. I find the endorphins that you get when working out to be addicting. It is MY time! My time to think about what I will look like at the end of this, of work...etc. I do my best thinking when I'm working out. I started lifting weights about 2 weeks ago. I enjoy pushing weight around, it makes me feel so powerful. I also have found that building muscle is what gives you that sexy curve when all the fat comes off! Plus muscle burns fat faster! Your body burns more calories while at rest as well. So so so many benefits to lifting weight. Have you ever lifted weights before?
