Ok Thanks! You think they'd include that info in the manual (or did I miss it?). I also tried to look up on the website and didn't see anything.

Nellie, the BB website is OK, but ask anything you need to, and we will get you up and running!

Ack. I got to the gym at the ungodly hour of 5:30am only to find I had forgotten to put my GWF on. I worked HARD today. Is there any way to fix that? I thought I saw somewhere you can edit the "off body" time but how do I tell the activity manager that I was running for 40 minutes?

Sigh. I am addicted to this little beeping device.

If you click on the calories burned after you upload/sync, you'll see a place to edit/add for off body time.

Pushing the center button also tells you how much charge you have on the battery and how much memory is left, depending on the color of the lights that flash. Green means it's full, yellow that it only has a certain amount of charge, and red means less than 24 hours. At least that's the case for GWF, I don't know about BB.

I uploaded the data to the site and it was pretty cool. I noticed it seemed to think driving was very active. I'm wondering if I should wear it on my right arm when I drive since I drive with my left hand.

It also charges pretty quickly - I leave mine hooked up for 15 minutes or so when I upload and it stays charged.

Nellie, give it a few days to see what kind of burn you are getting before you make changes. if you are finding it easy to reach your daily burn you might want to tweak the program. if you have to work to get to your daily burn leave things alone. I would not move the BB for driving cuz it will make you crazt to keep oving it around.

I just ordered a GWF with the 3-month subscription tonight and it should get to me on Friday! I'm very excited to try this tool out. It sounds like a great motivator, and seems like it will cause me to be much more careful about my calories consumed.

So my burn for today was 2830 (so far) with a goal of 2650. It was one of my more active days with dog walking in the morning (although an abbreviated walk this morning), karate class (karate included a lot of sitting today, more than usual) and then coming home and doing a little wii exercise (10 minutes active stuff, 10 minutes stretching).

The graphs are pretty amazing though. It is interesting to look at my work day and then look at the rest of the day. I think it is really motivating. I want more spikes and less flat

Oh and my calories were below my goal for today!

ok, I've been using my gwf for about a week and I love it. Last night when I had it connected to my computer it prompted me to update my armband and now it won't sync with my display. I've tried several times and I followed the online instructions to reset the display, but it still won't sync. Any suggestions?

What do you guys do with your GWF/BB when you go through airport security? Do you have to take it off?

I flew last week with the thing, and completely forgot to take it off my arm when I went though the metal detector. Nothing happened. That's strange to me since it has at least one metal part (the thing that touches your skin). I'm starting to think the agent just wasn't paying attention because I also had a watch on that usually sets off detectors. Weird.

But today, I made sure to take it off. I went through the new full-body x-ray scan (you know the one where you walk into a plastic box and they take an x-ray of your entire body, and an agent in another room essentially can see through your clothes). I was pretty sure that the thing was going to show up on that, and I really didn't need any more body search inspections.

I still find it weird that it wouldn't set off a metal detector the first time, though.

I don't take off my rings when I go through.
I do take it off but many do not, it is mostly plastic.
