i really REALLY hope scott gets kicked off tonight. he has no personality whatsoever....he pouts too much...and can't take constructive criticism well. he irritates me so much!

i think bo and carrie did an amazing job...as usual. i think it'll come down between those two at the very end.

I didn't even realize she messed up. IMO they butcher those songs so much that I'd probably never notice a few extra missed words.

I thought Anthony did well last night, but I think that's just because I love the Paul Young song he sang. I've been singing it all day.

Vonzell did a good job, too--but I was just waiting for her to hit that HIGH note at the end!!

Bo and Constantine did well. Can't believe Simon made that remark to Bo that he needed to sing a song that was well-known. Freebird not well known? Sheesh, maybe not to yankees!! (That's was a JOKE :) ) Also can't believe Simon didn't make a remark along the lines of Constantine doing a "fine karoke imitation," which seems to be his standard remark anytime someone sings a Queen song.

I agree Carrie seemed very uncomfortable in the rock and roll style or maybe she looked out of place because she knew she made mistakes...

Scott, looks like a :ink:, IMHO, ick, he makes my skin crawl !! ....

Nadia has changed somehow, she's not as good as in the beginning, but I missed the start of the show so I didn't hear her sing ... Vonzelle is 100% better than in the beginning, I loved her style last night... Constantine, I loved last night, I usually don't care for his style much... I missed Bo :( and Anthony but from the little blurb I saw at the ending I wasn't that impressed with Anthony...

You know, America doesn't always get it right. Last year's competition was a joke. At least this year, there is a lot more talent on the stage (IMO). But to see Scott remain is the most surprising news tonight.

Suzanne...I agree about what you said about Bo. It's really true...it's all good, even if he did get bumped off...for some ungodly reason before Scott!!...he'd still be given a recording contract. He's got more talent in his big toe then that Scott creature. Bleh!!

BUT, I wasn't suprised to see Nadia go. Happy? Not at all, but not surprised, either. I think she's got a great voice, but there's just a hint of lack of confidence in her that I think shows when she's flustered. At this point, though, anyone that gets bumped before Scott is insulting to be let go before him!! What he said to Simon was just like a big baby whining..."Well, at least I'm out here on the stage and everyone else doesn't have the guts to..." Whaahhhh, whaaahhh, whaaaaaahhh... :ink: I hope Ilene doesn't mind me using her little piggy here...it's just so perfect.

Back to Bo...I think him being in the bottom three is setting him up to win the competition in the end! I think it'll take away the comfort factor I think he's copped in the last couple weeks and make him work reeeeally hard to NOT be in the bottom three again. I could see in his eyes he didn't like it one bit. You'll see...it'll be down to him and Carrie, trust me!! And it was insulting as it gets to see Scott sit down and not BO!! Gawd!!

By the way...did anyone catch the video they did a few weeks ago with them all walking down the street and driving in the truck and things? The week we lost Nikko? I loved that video.

I thought Nadia deserved to go-her performance on Tuesday was terrible. Scott will go soon and so will Anthony-they just aren't as polished as the others. My .02.

Remember when Fantasia got picked in the bottom three last year and then she ended up winning? So Bo being in the bottom three doesn't necessarily mean he won't win. I think he will win and maybe he will turn it up a notch now although he's great the way he is.

I missed last night. I know Nadia went home. I missed her performance, though, but realized she didn't do too well. I really thought she could have become the AI in the first few competitions.

Just curious, who else had a chance of being sent home? I know Nadia lost and Bo was in the bottom 3. Who else, Scott? I want him gone! I think the fact that Hall and Oates were there saved him because what are they going to say...he ruined our song?!? They were gentlemen and were polite.

Yes it was Scott who was in the bottom three with Bo and Nadia. I do think that all of these contestants are better than Fantasia and Rueben. I think Fantasia is very whiney-sounding...Kelly Clarkson is still great and her hits show that she has real talent.

I agree with ALL of you -- especially that assessment of "What else could Hall and Oates have said? They were gentlemen." ... after Scott's performance. That is so right on! It irked me though, that Paula was up jumping around during his song. I thought he was doing horribly and it's like she has a separate agenda, trying to sway the voting audience toward him! And with all that negative press, I can't believe he is still there. And I LOVE that piggy icon!

It's the best recap of the show. I haven't heard any of that stuff about Anwar anywhere else except for here. Not that it will make a difference, but I'm not sure AI is ready to go in that direction just yet.
