Every season it's on, I put a sticky note, with the days of the week and the time it's on, on the front of my monitor until the season's over. :D

Did anyone watch the show last night? I didn't get to see all of it, only about the 1st half. From what I did see, there weren't very many people from that audition going to the next round. Was the 2nd half any better than the 1st half?

I saw last night, but unfortunately, missed tonight. Didn't get home in time. I think they only got 16 from last night's round up. I think you missed the next Will Hung. Hubby and I have dibs on Leroy to replace him. :D :D :D

Man! I didn't even THINK about it being on last night! I watched videos because I was so bored and didn't think anything good was on. I'm so bummed.

I set the timer to automaticallly change the channel to AI when it comes on. Hubby was bummed, cause he was watching Foxnews and the channel changed on him and he heard some God awful music bellowing out of the box. LOL!

Was Leroy the guy that worked in the movie theater that sang the David Bowie song?

Leroy's the guy they needed subtitles for. Like the subtitle where he said he was gonna become a script writer for Randy Jackson. LOL That guy was waaaaaaaay out there and you couldn't understand a word he said. They even had to point out to him who Simon was since he was talking all over the place. Never did hear him actually sing. But whatever drugs he's taking, he needs to lay off em for awhile.

Anyone still watching this? I've never seen the Hollywood tryouts before, this has been very interesting. I was really surprised by the few people that made it all the way to Hollywood but then didn't seem to want to participate in their groups.

I was surprised that the three guys who went late in the day, and practiced all night and all day and couldn't get it together, and chose a really God-awful song that no one else picked, were all three sent to the next round. Simon doesn't usually give second chances. But they seemed to find a reason to give these guys another chance. Hubby thinks they were all good voices, they just picked the wrong song and that's why the judges gave them another chance.

As usual, I missed the Wednesday show. I never can remember that it's on then. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. I think it's more exciting when the group starts getting smaller. The first audition shows, then the few people who get through--that's where it's at!

I did happen to see those triplets (ya know, the ones Simon called "fat") on Entertainment Tonight or some other show like that. They were put on a "diet" and are supposed to be trying to land a recording deal on their own.

Who knows!

Ok! 1st elimination round was on last night! Time to get with the thread keeping!!!

Was anyone surprised with who was voted off? I wasn't with the guys, although I thought most of them had weak performances. The girls I would've chosen differently. But I'm just glad my blond w/the strong pipes is staying!

I just had a sneaky look to see who is out. I don't see it until tomorrow at the earliest. I'm supporting Constantine and Anthony at the moment. ;) Well anyone but Mikalah. :p

All I could think of is that of both girls and both guys that were booted last night, I didn't recognize any of them. This is a popularity contest. Constantine has stood out in front with the guys since day 1. Each group has only a few that people really remember. It's one of those few who will take it all the way through to the end. I could pretty much name the ones last night that I knew weren't going. Constantine was one of them. He might hold out until the last half dozen...either him or the other rocker...can't remember his name right now.

Constantine is hot, no doubt about it. I also like Anwar--the good-looking Black man with the long hair. Um,mmmmm......Between those two, I'd have a hard time choosing!

Constantine wasn't as good as Bo for me this week. I quite liked one of the women who went out. The second guy who was voted out was awful, I have no idea what he was singing it was nothing I have heard before. A few of the AI songs are new to me which makes it a bit weird. :p Some of the songs are only known in America I guess.
