I was really shocked that Jessica was voted off! I wasn't a fan of hers in the beginning, but became one. She was always on key, and had such a powerful voice.
I love Bo and Nadia. I really don't understand how Nadia could end up in the bottom three, two weeks in a row! Especially with Scott and Nikko safe. I'm not trying to be mean, but I think Nadia is a better singer. I doubt Scott will be around much longer, though. There will be a lot of people next week that are going to be upset over this. |
I agree that Scott and Anthony should have been in the bottom 3...
What I find funny is that when a person is voted off, I feel that when they sing their last song that they sing better than ever... Has anyone else found this too? In my mind it's probably because they are no longer nervous and they give it their last best.... |
I totally agree with you, Ilene! I thought Jessica was good anyway, but she did so much better after the results were announced on Wednesday night.
I don't like Nadia as much now as I did when the competition still started. All her songs sound the same to me for some reason. Same w/Anwar, tho I still think he's a hottie. I think Scott is good, but he definately needs some fashion tips! He has a nice voice, tho, IMO. Anthony--ich. I've been WAITING for him to be gone! |

I agree w/that, too. I only have a cell phone (not cingular or at&t) so I don't want to use my minutes to vote. Plus, I know there are people who vote literally hundreds of times. What good would my one vote do? Maybe if it were more democratic :) An AI electoral college? LOL |
Well if appearances count Scott should be off real soon... His looks turn me off too...

I agree that Anwar is a hottie :) I love his voice, but it doesn't always come out as strong as it should. He starting to look stressed, and I'm sure this must be a very stressful thing to experience.
Constantine.... :hot: I don't think he's good enough to win, but I hope he sticks around a while lol. I peeked at the official forum and noticed a LOT of 40-something fans, and they said it best when they mentioned that he reminds us of the guys we dated in the 70s :lol: I really hope Bo wins. He has a strong voice, and I think it would be interesting to see what AI does with him. They can't exactly give him the type of pop songs Clay sang. |

My favorites are definitely Carrie and Bo. Constantine is cute, but a lot of times sounds whiny to me as opposed to the true rock of Bo. Carrie does not have the greatest vocal ability of the girls (I think Nadia does), but there's something so natural about her--like when she's happy, I want to be happy, when she's sad, I want to be sad. Okay, so I'm a dork, but I think she is the least fake person in this competition right now. And Bo. Oh, how I love me some Bo Bice!
And can I just say that since the first time I saw him, I commented to my boyfriend that Scott Savol looked like a serial killer. I have been waiting for him to go away since the show started. He's a good singer, but he has no personality off stage! And he was so horrible when they had to do the group performances back toward the beginning--practically left the other 2 guys in his group hanging. What a jerk! And I am SOOOOO glad Michaela Gordon (or however it's spelled) is finally gone. Besides being an annoyingly-fake ditzy primadonna, she could not sing! I know I'm a week behind on ranting about her, but I still can't believe she made it as far as she did. Must have been the boobs she kept showing in her revealing little tops :o |

I have to admit, I've been resisting watching this show for years, but my mom got my daughter to get me to DVR it so they could discuss it over AIM and now I'M hooked as well!! Sooo....I started watching on the first show of the final 12, when...was it Lindsay?...was on and voted off. Right then I pegged Carrie and Bo as the two it will boil down to. And what is with that Scott? How did HE get in? I just read that 'smoking gun' article and I have to say, I'm not the least bit suprised...nor with Anwar, which doesn't bother me in the least. BUT, Scott makes me really nervous, like if he gets voted off, he'll say it's because he's chubby or something or he'll take Carrie hostage or something. And...what was he thinking that week when he wore that sloppy T-shirt with black jeans? He looked like he was downwind of the clothesline when the laundry got blown off!! And he needs to stop throwing his accessories...it's so melodramatic. I was so shocked with Nikko got the axe and not Scott. One more week of fast forwarding through him, I hope!! Regarding the rest...I love Anthony...he reminds me of a blonde Harry Potter. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll last long, though, because he's just not that good of a singer, really. But I do like him...he reminds me of a geeky kid in school that finally got with it. And, I forget her name, but the one with the afro...I was so embarassed for her when she came out with that mohawk. I think that was the reason she ended up in the bottom three that week! She's GREAT and I hope she outlasts, at least, Scott! My prediction for the final four will be Vondell...come on...were you guys as SHOCKED as ME that she was in the bottom 3 this week after that Barbara Striesand song? Holy Toledo!! What was America thinking??? Anyhow, it will be down to Vondell, Constantine, Bo and Carrie. In my opinion. And I hope Carrie wins it. I don't necessarily 'like' Bo, but he's 'got it'. Constantine kind of makes me feel kinda like...well....he sort of reminds me of the late singer of INXS...sort of...he sort of makes me like I'm going start thinking dirty thoughts, so I have to look away because my daughter's in the room. I guess that sums it up. I really didn't like him singing "I Think I Love You". Although I LOVED Bo singing Time in a Bottle. Except for the part when he was singing to the guitar player...who was a MAN...did anyone else notice that? But...Carrie just kicks butt. She's got it as far as I'm concerned. She'll be the hottest new light in the Country world...which will be a new twist for American Idols...won't it? I was just watching Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone video...she's pretty cool!! My daughter downloaded the song for her iPod. Anyhow...that's my take on American Idol!! I'm not so much sad that Nikko's gone as much as I'm sad that Scott's still there!!
