Yay! Todd Helton announced that he is coming back next year. I'm thrilled! The guys on our local radio station aren't thrilled, though. They think that he should have retired for the good of the team, so that other guys could be "developed" to play first base. Whatever.......... I love Todd, and he is welcome back any time, in my opinion. He's still playing good baseball. He got hurt last year and was out some, but overall he's in good form.

I never knew he will turn 40 this year. He always seems like a good teammate.

We have been in St Louis all weekend at Winter Warm Up. A sad day on Saturday, Stan Musial passed away. The greatest Cardinal ever.

Stan Musial was laid to rest today.

Saw the first article of the season for Junior College baseball. It's coming! We even had a warmer weekend finally, so I'm thinking we're almost there!
