Dodgers get Skip Schumaker from the Cardinals.

He was a fan favourite here. Great arm in the outfield but his bat isn't so good anymore. He can play the outfield and 2nd base at a push.

Speaking of sports in Southern California, did you notice that their local basketball team lost to a team from somewhere in Ohio?

Most folks on the West Coast couldn't spot Ohio on a map, much less Cleveland. And they beat the Lakers!

Sad sad sad is all I can say about my Lakers....in the past, deep down, you knew it would all work out or at least get better....not so sure this time. Good thing we have 2 NBA teams in the same city and division to root for ... lol .... never gonna happen!

No one is going to be able to recognize their teams! Well, except for the Rockies who are doing nothing. I've only heard of one trade. I guess we have a new manager, so that should fix everything.

I don't quite get it...

we are keeping guys out of the baseball Hall Of Fame for using HGH...not that I disagree..

and yet we don't even test players in the NFL for it....????

I think testing is better now in MLB but the drug companies will always be one step ahead.

Look at Cabrera he got signed this off season, as if he has a clean slate now.I think the punishment should be longer for those that are caught.

About the Hall of Fame I don't think you can ignore that whole time in baseball and not let anyone in. That is a good debate right there. It's hard to know who to let in. How to distinguish between one player and another. I'm just rambling now. :)

Look at Wisconsin....gonna give ex coach and current AD almost $120,000 to coach their bowl game...since the Badgers coach split for his higher ground...then an extra $50,000 if they win....

If your getting $120,000 to coach one game shouldn't you win?
