I'm jealous, I can say no to almost anything, but when it comes to nutella...I don't know what it is. Decided it's better to just not keep it in my house lol.

hahah krampus, there's actually a churro stand in the train platform I go to on the way home from work. I also must admit - I didn't try a burrito till the summer right after I graduated high school!

Anyone know what rainbow chard tastes like? For some reason it looks like it would taste like a sour fruit to me.

Or what about dragon fruit? I heard that its not all that great-that its more pretty than anything else. Here's a pic
Dragon fruit is kind of bland IMO. It tastes like a kiwi but not so juicy. I didn't really like it that much lol wish I could explain it better.

Ok spaghetti squash tastes like noodles if you bake it right and cover it with yummy homemade tomato sauce, YUM! (Just slice, spray some pan or evoo on cut sides, place on baking sheet cut side down and cook at 350 till you can easily stick a fork in the skin, usually around 30 mins or so. Then you flip it and run a fork through it to pull out your spaghetti! )

Someone please tell me what MASHED CAULIFLOWER TASTES LIKE!?
if you got a recipe for it please message me

Also sweet potatos, are they good roasted on the grill? I've never had them.

I wanna try asparagus this week on the grill. Hubby loves that stuff, how long would you cook it?

Oooh anyone ever had cheesecake on a stick? Its frozen and dipped in chocolate .... yum.
I've only had it twice though but it was worth it

Nuttella is heaven in a jar full of calories and sugar....
If you want to try it they sell small travel packs with these cookie sticks to dip.
I believe anything in moderation cause you only live once.

Sweet potatoes on the grill are one of my favorites! Peel and slice and parboil for just a few minutes (they get soft very quickly) and allow to cool before grilling. I love to toss them with minced garlic and minced chipotle peppers and some olive oil. They are sweet and spicy and extremely tasty!

Asparagus doesn't take long. Probably 5 minutes or so, turning pretty often. You want to get color on them, but you don't want them to start to shrivel.

Nutella has a flavor similar to Ferraro Rocher candy but more chocolately than nutty. I LOVE it, esp with peanut butter as a sandwich. I haven't bought a jar in years, don't like the temptation in the house. I think they sell individual servings in some places if you ever want to try it.

Fried oreos were very disappointing to me. The fried part kind of counteracted the sweetness and I mostly tasted the oil. I hardly ever eat fried foods, so maybe I'm sensitive to it.

I want to try some jicama now - love a crunch in my salads! I've been using brocooli slaw, which is also good for that.

I can speak to the rainbow chard - it's just a variety of Swiss chard with multi-colored stalks. Steamed plain, it's very similar to fresh spinach. To prepare, slice out the thick part of the stalk. We quarter the remaining leaf to make the bites a little smaller, and then either steam, or saute in a little chicken stock or water with a bit of garlic. A little drizzle of balsamic or red wine vinegar is very good - to jazz it up you can add a few toasted pine nuts or a sprinkle of grated parmesan. Chock full of yum!

I dislike REAL mexican food so places that closesly resembles it are just nasty to me. Taco Bell on the other hand, I love to pieces. I usually get their supreme steak chalupas or their volcano nachos.. Ugh, just so good! Esp.the chalupas. Nowadays whenever I crave Taco Bell, I only get their crunchy tacos since it's low in calories.

And I agree with whoever said dragon fruit is bland. It's crunchier than a kiwi and usually on the sweeter side.

One type of food that I've always wondered about is 'stinky tofu'. I see them in some of the soap operas I watch and I wanna try it sososo bad!!!

Kraft Dinner (or Mac n' Cheese for our American friends) tastes like a cheap version of home made macaroni and cheese. I find it kind of bland on its own but with a little ketchup it becomes irresistible to me.

I personally find kale to be a bit bitter if eaten cooked. A little bit of lemon juice seems to mitigate this and it is also really chewy. I do like juicing it or turning it into kale chips with a little sea salt and lemon juice.

Liver Pate: I like it but I am not sure why, it has kind of a grainy texture and a little salty and savory. It is kind of difficult to describe and I haven't had it in a while but gosh darn it I want some now!

I was wondering what starfruit, cherimoya, and tomatotilos (sp) taste like.

Also has anyone heard of or tried fried butter? It was a big draw at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto a few years ago (before I moved here) and I am curious as to what the big deal is I can't imagine it is anything but disgustingly greasy.

I am trying to think of other foods I've wanted to try but I can't think of them right now.

Man, I love pate. So delicious. It's chicken livers sauteed with onions and lots of butter, usually with a splash of alcohol. It tastes rich and earthy and a little sweet. Very delicious, especially on slices of good baguette!

Starfruit has a texture of a crispy Asian pear - light and sorta crunchy. Its sour/sweet. Its nice but not amazing.

I don't like kale. Its like a more earthy, tougher version of spinach.

Spam is just like mediocre salty ham. Rubbery texture. I don't think it tastes that gross lol. If it was sliced in a sandwich I would think it was regular ham.

I like the 45 calorie hot dogs from ballpark with lots of sauerkraut. Amazing for under 100 calories.

Healthier, I am so enjoying all the blueberries, strawberries and melons right now.

The other day I saw butternut squash brownies on COOK YOURSELF THIN--I would love to try them!

Starfruit: I'd say it has the consistency of an apple, and the flavor combination of pineapple and lemon. I really like it. It's very refreshing, and it's fun to cut into little stars.

Spam: I grew up eating this stuff. It's rubbery/slimy in texture (depending on if you have it cold or fried), and has a salty bologna-like flavor.

Spaghetti squash: Light and crispy, like the most perfect noodle, but it has no starchiness to it, which I love! It goes great with some homemade venison meatballs!

Can anyone tell me what beets taste like? My mom really hates them so much, because she grew up eating the canned variety. I've had a pickled beet before, but I've never had canned or fresh. Also, what do you do with them? Recipes would be much appreciated. I'm kind of a bad cook. :P

Also, the same for eggplant. I bought one once and let it go bad, because I didn't know what to do with it. lol.
