i'm 5'7" (171cm) and i'm considered tall, both in Asia and US.
On the bright side, I have longer legs (yay)
On the down side, I feel gigantic next to my dh who is only 1 inch taller than me. And he looks shorter than me most of the time because I wear heels that is around 3 inches at least.

I am tall..
Growing up I was always teased because of my height...
Who would have guessed that today I hold my head up very high...now proud of my height...

I am 5ft 6 and feel short, lol. A friend is 5ft 8 and is tall or maybe it's just an illusion. She is very thin, 110 lbs and I swear it makes her look taller than what she is. So I would say 5 ft 8 is tall.

I'm considered tall by most people I know, but I don't really feel like I look tall unless I'm at a lower weight.

As the above poster said, it does make a difference. I look a LOT taller at 139 lbs than I do now, at 191 lbs.

I'm in between 5'8" and 5'9" and have never really thought of myself as tall. Normally, I consider tall to be anyone over 5'10"ish. Then again, until I see pictures, I always feel like I'm the same height as my friends (most of whom top out at 5'6") Oddly enough though, I rarely wear heels, because they make me feel like a giant.

If I could... I would be 5'2", it seems like such a perfect height. (most of the women in my family are in that height range. I, on the other hand, am apparently a genetic mutant )

I think 5'7" is tall, but then I'm a short one who would prefer to be even shorter.

It is so true. I want to be tall and thin not the jolly green giant that I am right now.

I think 5'10" and up is technically tall. My husband's 6'3", which means I can wear 4-inch heels and be just fine. Which I love. It does also make me feel like Godzilla a little bit in crowds, though, feeling like I should just go Stomp Stomp and make the little villagers flee before me. When I was visiting Minnesota, it was so NICE to be around so many other tall people. But then I had to go back home to short-topia.

I married a 6'4" man, and my daughters are going to be taller than me by the time they're 10, lol!
