I'm 5'8 and occasionally am told I'm relatively tall... but I don't feel like I'm that tall. I do have longer legs, but a slightly sturdier frame, so maybe that's why. I love to wear shoes with a little height, so I actually do feel tall.

Somewhere around 5'8" and I start to think a woman is taller than average. I'm 5'9" and have always been one of the tallest girls in my class.

I seem to accumulate tiny friends, though... Not just average, but 5'0" friends who are naturally slim. So it always makes me feel that much taller and wider.

But, my height is AWESOME in crowds where I can scan over a sea of people! Or someone can spot me. I'm the mobile meet-up point!

I am the opposite. I am just over 5'6''... most of my friends are about 5'2''. When I stand next to them, I feel like the bionic woman... I always wanted to be petite... never worked out for me.

Nobody ever considered me tall here. Neither short. So I suppose anything over 5'2'' like me is tall in Greece

5'8" is tall.

5'7" is average, IMO.

I am 5'8". I've always wanted to be 5'9". :-)

I consider 5'7" to be tall, but I'm a shorty, ha. My mother is 5'9" (jealous!). The doctors "calculated" that my height should have been at least 5'7", so much for that!

In India, any woman above 5'2 is considered tall! The average height for a woman here is 5'0

Hahahaha. I was a really tall kid and was predicted to be 5'10 or something as an adult. Missed that one, doc!

I think it's relative, but personally I consider anyone taller than 5'7" to be "tall".
