I was hoping Marichal would be there. Did you see the announcers get their rings, too? I never heard if Renel got one for her announcing at the park.

I hate Comcast. Today was the ceremony for Buster Posey for being Rookie of the Year. Will Clark and some other past rookies were there. Comcast blocked the ceremony. They joined the game during the bottom of the 1st.

Cards win, yes.

Matt Holliday is back. So glad to see him in the line-up.

Now on to Arizona.

Juan Marichal and Monte Irvin were not able to there but they will get their rings. Jose Uribe who is now with the Dodgers (Groan ) will get his in a private ceremony when LA comes to town .
I thought it was neat the first ring went to their equipment manager who started as a bat boy in 1958 !!!!
I only saw Willie Mays play once and that was at an Old Timers Game. That was more for fun than a serious game. Joe Dimaggio was there, too although he didn't play, he was in uniform though.

LA is in town (SF) for a three game series, The security is very tight as you can imagine. Todays game is being dedicated to Bryan Stow who was savagely beaten in LA on opening day after the game. He is still in a coma in a LA hospital. The giants are taking donations today to help with Hospital Expenses.

My Braves are not doing such a great job this year... Chipper Jones pulled in his 2500th hit at our home opener, which was nice though.

Comcast Sportsnet is replaying parts of the parade and having some of the Giants commenting on what their feelings were.

I can only hope and pray that some of the fans don't lower themselves to that moronic gangland thug mentality tonight.

Go Giants! Beat L.A! But only on the ball field.

Ugh! Heartbreaking loss by my Sox. Mark Buehrle pitched a FANTASTIC game and really deserved the W. But unfortunately, Juan Pierre lost a fly ball in the lights and dropped it which allowed the runner to score from second, tying the game at 1 in the 9th. Kurt Suzuki hit an HR in the top of the 10th and we didn't do anything about it. Go get 'em tomorrow boys!

Rockies won so there is a bright spot to the evening!

Woot! I just hope the Rangers can keep it up and don't crash and burn soon.

Had to keep tabs on the game vs. Detroit yesterday on MLB gameday online. Boo. I'm too far away to get any games on the radio and I'm pretty sure they won't let me install a big 50" LCD in my office. Big party poopers.
