I'm going to pass on this game tonight.
We're down 7-0, 4th inning and Garcia is pitching.

Kindly allow all of us of Red Sox Nation to celebrate for this brief moment that we're in first place.
Long time to get here.
But it's a rather tight group of teams at the top of our division. All five could end the season at the top at this point.

Yes, and it feels good up here a full game above the Yanks. We didn't play tonight due to weather, so crossing fingers we can take at least one of the DH tomorrow.

I'm so glad that series against the Rockies is over. We won today to take the series.
You just never know how those games are going to turn out. That was awful last night with Garcia. I think LaRussa should have pulled him earlier than he did.
Glad we don't have to go back there again this year

We are going to the game today against the Giants.
They usually have a nice pre-game ceremony to honour the military on Memorial Day.
It's going to be a hot one 94 degrees at game time.

Oi.
Nice pre-game ceremony to honour the troops.
The rest of the game was pretty bad. I think that air in Colorado must have got to them.

Matt Holliday and Kyle McLellan to the DL.
So many injuries but our young guys are holding up well.
Westbrook going up against Lincecum tonight.

I've been lurking but still following my Rangers.
Endy Chavez is doing so well while Borbon is out on DL. So well it seems half the people on the Rangers forums are asking for him to stay in Borbon's place permanently. I just wish the Rangers could get their pitching settled. Feliz has been pretty shaking lately and it seems several of their starters are hit or miss (pun intended
).

Good grief! It took 14 innings to dispatch that California team from Oakland. Fourteen!!!!
But, that allows the Red Sox to remain within one game of the NY Yankees.
Which reminds me: Gary - our local newspapers aren't talking about the mighty LA Dodgers, but rather about low attendance. How do you exptect to meet payroll if you fans don't attend and buy over-priced beers. The players gotta eat, ya know.
