Well my DODGERS finally got into the win column :carrot: today 10-2 over those Pirates

I can't believe I stayed up last night to see them leave the winning run on freakin' 3rd base with ZERO...that's right ZERO outs...only to lose it in the 10th....:mad:

2am did not set well with me this morning when the alarm went off!

Today is a much happier day :)

Don't even get me started on brad penny and his non-efforts to stay in shape as a DODGER making millions...aaarrrggghhhh

Chipper Jones got hurt (again) last night and left the game... Didn't end well for the Braves... Sadness. I'm wondering if it might be time for Chipper to retire.... He just hasn't held up well the last few seasons.

I like Big Papi. He always seems so nice when they interview him. Doesn't seem like he is performing as well as in the past though.

Finally our home opener.

3 against the Astros. I hope they don't decide to get hot after 6 losses.

I knew you would not be happy. That had to hurt.

So, we took 2 of 3 from the Padres. Rockies need to start winning... right now we have the Giants and the DBacks ahead of us. So, we sit at 3-3. (I know Gary, that's better than 2-4, but still.) We play the Mets starting tomorrow.

What a gorgeous opening day.

Weather perfect, Adam Wainwright sharp and Albert on form.

Day off tomorrow then back to it.

Here are the results after the first week TEAM ....As I was counting it out I got to thinking that those that picked all American or all National teams, especially in the same divisions, may be at a disadvantage...since each time they play each other the best you can get is 50/50....curious to see how this plays out.

I think the last 2 DODGER games were right up with 2 of the worst I have ever seen....

not feeling well right now with our pitching...and power....we are getting hits and on base....need to score more and give up less....

My son's team is at 2 wins and 1 loss. He has really improved this year. He's a first baseman and is just ON! Love little league!

I was able to see the last inning after work....

Little League ROCKS D!....congrats to your son! My boy was always a first baseman or centerfielder...great glove...great stretch in his 6' 4" body...although not THAT tall in LL...lol....and he could track it down and make those outfield catches....rare for him to strike out...but NEVER could hit with power....

Rockies had a fun night against the Mets. Hope we keep that up for the rest of the series!!!
