I saw yesterday that the Rockies beat the Dodgers 12-0. Maybe we can repeat that during the regular season!!!!

I don't think he will make the HOF (I think it will be close AND maybe if all the others blow out 'cause of the steroids)...sorry...I like the guy...but the reason he signed was so he would wear the Red Sox hat!

I'm not liking the Sunday night idea at all, I have a feeling its a FOX game and Joe Buck will be calling it... I prefer my cold Monday afternoon opening days, with Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo... Why do they have to ruin everything !

I've been missing a lot of what is happening with the Rockies. My daughter has her driving permit. So.... that's what I do. I sit in the passenger seat and squirm. :)

I'm being told that FOX/Joe Buck will not be covering the Sox opener as I previously reported.. "Its not on their schedule"...but I'm still not convinced.. I really don't want to see Mr. Buck at Fenway till October...

Hey guys, hope I'm not too late! I'm a recent Boston transplant living in Los Angeles.

My team is, of course, the Boston Red Sox! I'm going to miss living so close to Fenway this season. I could see the stadium lights from my house. HD games will have to do, ha!

My wish team is the Los Angeles Dodgers. Since I now live in Dodger territory, I will likely be going to some of their games and watching them on television. I have also always respected Joe Torre, so it'd be fun to see that team do well. Even with that d0uche Manny Ramirez on the team.

Opening Day of course. Just came to me.

Thanks! I'm excited about experiencing west coast baseball. I was here for the playoffs in October, got to go to Angel Stadium. Took quite a bit of abuse (and gave plenty back), but actually enjoyed myself a lot. I love seeing other parks. Haven't been to Dodger Stadium yet, so I'm looking forward to that. I promise I won't even boo Manny Ramirez. :devil:

As for my Red Sox - my birth certificate says Boston, MA, and I was raised right, so really I had no choice in the matter. Until 2004, I was sure my father secretly hated me and wanted me to suffer every October. :)

Hey all, not much longer and the real games start. I'm so ready!!!

On a side note... my son had little league baseball tryouts last weekend. He's 13. It just amazes me how much these boys are changing. They are getting so tall and are just so much more confident in their skills. Hitting left a lot to be desired for all of the boys, but it could be because we had a little blast of winter weather that day. Oh... and you should hear all the voices that are changing. Kinda makes you giggle. :)
