I have a Fox Terrier mix, she is about 7 and she has always slept in her crate. She disturbs our sleep too much if she lays on the bed. She seems to be fine with it. Every night around 11 she reminds me it's time to sleep and as soon as I enter the bed room she runs to her crate to "make" her bed.
More boxers! I have two boxers, ages 9 and 3.
They both sleep with me on my king size bed, but snuggle up close so it doesn't really matter how big the mattress is.
Boxers are wonderful dogs, I'm lucky that mine are pretty laid back- for boxers anyway.
I have 4 dogs! Dalton is 1/2 Pyrenees, 1/2 Anatolian and at 6 mos is already almost 100 lbs. He is a livestock guardian dog and sleeps out in the pasture with his goats. They have access to a cozy stall with fluffy hay to sleep in, but they choose to sleep in random places in the pasture
The 3 inside dogs: Two older dogs sleep in our bedroom in their beds. I have always believed in having my dogs sleep in the bedroom with us, especially since we work during the day and don't see them all day. Both are rescue mutts, one about 40 lbs and 12 years old, the other about 15 lbs and 14 years old.
DH and I have always said we would not have a dog sleep in the bed with us. That all changed when we got our now 2 year old mixed breed rescue puppy. He is absolutely the light of our lives and is spoiled rotten. He sleeps under the covers in between us, literally spooning with me I cannot tell you how much we love this dog. Of course we love them all, but he is just special. He is very affectionate and gives hugs! He loves to snuggle and we just could not tell him no when he wanted to sleep on our bed. The funny thing is he lays on his own bed until we turn the lights and tv off, then jumps on our bed and under the covers!

Three dogs here... a 55 lb. red and white Border Collie (crazy thing!!), a 110 lb. German shepherd and 9 lb. miniature Dachshund... only the Dachshund is a house dog. He sleeps in my bed sometimes, but just as happily sleeps in his crate. All my dogs are crate trained and working dogs. Love them to bits!!
We have a 95lb rotty/german shepard mix, his name is Clarence and he sleeps in the living room or upstairs with the kiddos. We adopted him about a year and a half ago from humane society, they said he was 4 yrs old. He acts much older, poor thing didn't know how to play and we are pretty sure that he was beat.
And we have a 65lb mutt, named Boyd, we are not sure what he is! Thinking he is a pitbull terrier/boxer/ with maybe something else?!? He sleeps in the gated up laundry room with his blankets. He is about 3 yrs old and was rescued by a friend of my husbands. He was found out in the country last winter, half froze and starved.
I will post pics when I get a chance up in the sub forum, maybe you all would have a guess at what breed Boyd is.

We have three dogs and they each sleep somewhere different.
Our 50lb mixed breed pretty much sleeps where he wants. Floor, couch, bed, dog bed... you name it. Sometimes he even squeezes into the little dog bed and it's hilarious!
My husband's boston terrier sleeps in her crate at night. If she doesn't she just wanders around and paws you and wants to play.
My boston, my absolute baby, sleeps attached me. Usually he's under the blanket and between my ankles or behind my legs. If he's cold he'll actually sleep on top of me. LOL!
Our pup slept in a crate at night when she was young. Once she was old enough to be trustworthy she started sleeping on the couch at night (she uses a ramp to get up and down). She sleeps in her crate when we travel.
I've got a Pomeranian, he's about 2 years old and ever since he was house broken he's slept in my bed. He gets right up against my chest and cuddles. Granted I wake up occasionally with a face full of fur, but I have a hard time sleeping without him to cuddle.
I have a 1 1/2 yr old English Bulldog girl named Molly. She sleeps between my legs in the bed( a FULL size, not very big) with me and my fiance, shes 60lbs so my legs are completely spread apart the entire night but she refuses to sleep anywhere else, we also have a 6month old kitten named Mr Fish that sleeps on my back so I usually dont sleep very well ha I dont mind though. Molly is a ham though, she needs constant attention but has the best personality.

I have a black mini-schnauzer named Elfie. (She is the love of my life) The hubby & I don't have children yet...so she is the center of our world!
My husband works nights (Boo...I know) so she generally sleeps in bed with me at night b/c I sleep better not being alone in our room. She makes me feel safe, although if someone broke into our house she would just lick them to death. However, during the day (when hubby sleeps) she will either be in her cage, or left in the house with her brother Grizz (a red 9month tabby cat)
When we first got her she didn't sleep with us, we wanted it to be our bed. So she slept in a cage for almost the first year of her life. However, after hubby started working nights...that all changed.
Our almost 2 yr old 45 lb Beagle mix (we don't know what she's mixed with) Lucy sleeps in whomever's bed she can. DD22 & DS14 fight over who she is going to bed with and they've been known to steal her from each other! When she sleeps w/DH & I (king size bed), she dives under the covers and snuggles in behind our knees or between our feet. She is super spoiled!
We crate her when we are gone during the day. The one time we forgot she ate:
1. a library book
2. DS's ipod charger cord
3. one sleeve off of DD's cashmere sweater
DD came home to her that day and Lucy was pretty proud of herself!
