Hope everyone has had a great long weekend! My week went from bad to worse with 2 kids kids and a crispy one who forgot to put on sun screen with youth group beach day! Hubby has been working weekends. The weather has been great lots of sun and cool air. To bad we have not been able to enjoy many outside days.

Operator265 07-05-2009 06:50 PM

You need a new prescription, EZ, if you can't tell the difference between Web and Angie.

EZMONEY 07-05-2009 09:30 PM

Not sure how much longer I will put up with these smart remarks.

Operator265 07-05-2009 10:24 PM

JuliaDH 07-06-2009 12:15 PM

I think this sight is full of chicks/chickens and roosters! lol I want to be a chick, and no longer be chicken to be thin, and love to be random so here we go...http://humor.about.com/gi/dynamic/of...omchicken.com/

EZMONEY 07-06-2009 09:29 PM

Speaking of fireworks...do you remember your first "fireworks"?...Did you pay attention to safety precautions?

Ruthxxx 07-07-2009 09:20 AM

Oh THAT kind of fireworks. I didn't even know about safety precautions.

EZMONEY 07-07-2009 07:20 PM

I didn't have time to even think safety!

EZMONEY 07-08-2009 08:08 AM

My daughter came up yesterday and we did our 2nd annual Father Take Your Daughter On A Walk Day....great fun....then she stayed for dinner.

anything fun for you all?

Ruthxxx 07-08-2009 10:13 AM

My fun this morning was finally getting out to the garden with my 20 bags of earth. It was a mere piffle in my raised bed so I get to lug another 20 bags at least six more times. What fun! I need slaves.

WebRover 07-08-2009 08:28 PM

No matter how small a contribution they make, your children believe they are slaves to the family.

Today, twice, it was 12:34:56 7/8/9
(for what it's worth)

EZMONEY 07-08-2009 09:39 PM

That is way cool WEB!

Operator265 07-08-2009 10:22 PM

Well, I'm now 42 and my oldest is 21. We had something purple to drink and Joe's Crab Shack. Yummy. And, as Web noted, we had a mathematical anomaly for each of us.

dutchgirl 07-08-2009 11:26 PM

Or would that be a temporal anomaly?
Happy Birthday to your ... Well she officially isn't a kiddo anymore, is she?
And take it easy on the purple drinks.
I am curious though, what was in them that made them purple?

Operator265 07-09-2009 10:37 AM

Blue Curacao and Grenadine. It was called a Shark Bite. They serve the Grenadine in a shooter on the side and when you pour it in it looks kinda like blood flowing into it. :dracula:

bargoo 07-09-2009 11:33 AM

Shark bite ?

The question comes to mind......does it bite ??

dutchgirl 07-09-2009 12:53 PM

Things like that tend to bite big time the next morning!
:beach: :stars: :faint: :barf: :headache:

bargoo 07-09-2009 01:11 PM

Oh ! I see ! A retroactive bite !

bargoo 07-09-2009 01:12 PM

Or maybe it is a recuring bite ......

Operator265 07-09-2009 01:33 PM

Not bitten too hard this morning. Tried to teach Kiddo(forever my kiddo) about what can and what should not be mixed. She had considered doing a butterscotch type shot not long after tequila. Yeah, put an end to that idea pretty quick.:dz:

ronni62 07-09-2009 03:00 PM

'Scuse me, but I'm interrupting this Threadkiller to scream-don't know if virtual screaming is as effective as real screaming, but we live next door to a state trooper and don't want him to think someone's being murdered.....so,anyway, plug your ears, folks..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR RRRRRRGGGHH!!!!

Thanks, I really, really needed that! My sil is going to drive everyone to drinking if she doesn't lay off until DH's dad passes! Don't know what gets into people.......but, you really find out what's important to them when it comes to settling a parent's estate:(

Operator265 07-09-2009 03:47 PM

:hug::hug::hug: for ronni.

Yep, haven't spoken to a sister since my mom's passing. It gets crazy. Hang tough, Sweetie. We're here for ya.

:hug::hug::hug: extras for later.

ronni62 07-09-2009 06:45 PM

Oh, thank you, Operator....I really needed those hugs! back at ya!

EZMONEY 07-09-2009 07:38 PM

Hugs RONNI....some people...family included...are not nice!

OPERATOR please forgive me about your purple drink...I just assumed it was prune juice

Operator265 07-09-2009 07:46 PM

Maybe when I get to your age EZ, but, that's a long, long, long, long ways off.

Operator265 07-09-2009 07:51 PM

When in the **** is Bill getting back? We need a really boring bookish type to keep track of the count for us.

WebRover 07-09-2009 08:04 PM

Hears my cue

229 to go!!!

Very boring bookish mathematical type, ME. :carrot:

Operator265 07-09-2009 10:01 PM

Oh yeah!! I forgot about the Killer who ditched us to go proofreading.

BillBlueEyes 07-09-2009 10:39 PM

273

227 to go.

(He's back.)

dutchgirl 07-10-2009 02:01 AM

Well you took your sweet time getting back, mr. Blue eyes! This is not July 6th!
Hope you had a great vacation. Gary really really missed you.

Ronni, Major :hug::hug::hug:
Family eh?
Come and have a scream, rant, :tantrum: any time you want girl!

Operator265 07-10-2009 03:46 AM

Yeah, Dutchie, I think Bill was just skipping out on buying me a birthday drink. Cheap bas*ard!!!

dutchgirl 07-10-2009 06:15 AM

Yeah, he would!
And I am obviously slow to catch on, I thought it was just your daughter's birthday, but it was yours as well?
In that case, a belated

:bday2you: :balloons: :woo: :balloons: :bday2you:

Ruthxxx 07-10-2009 06:31 AM

 I'm off to Toronto for a few days to be wined and dined by my sister and brother. It's a very belated birthday celebration and I have absolutely no intention of behaving myself. :cb: I may even smoke a nostalgic joint when we wander through Yorkville.

See y'all Sunday evening. Have a good weekend.

EZMONEY 07-10-2009 08:15 AM

What time did you say we leave RUTH?

Glad you are back BILL....they have been brutal!

MISS TNT...a birthday hug...I missed it too...thought it was your daughter's.

Operator265 07-10-2009 11:28 AM

Thanks y'all. I guess I've gotten pretty good at keeping the focus on her for our birthday. Kinda felt bad she didn't have it all to herself. Now that she's older it's more fun the way it worked. But, I think next year we'll head up to Canada and celebrate with Ruthie.

bargoo 07-10-2009 02:23 PM

Happy Birthday operator ! This may be a little late but I suspect you may still be celebrating. I have noticed that all the really superior people are born in July.

Buy the way my birthday is in July, too.!!
