Nice here today...around 75...a little drizzle on the way home but not muggy.

Son has a huge palm tree in the front yard of his new house...wants to get rid of it..a neighbor says it is worth $10,000 if it is he is gonna sell it and use it to fix up the back yard...it may be worth it...but in this economy one never knows....we shall see.

Very warm and veeeery humid here in Amsterdam. Kind of makes you want to do nothing, if not less.
I just signed up for a course in silversmithing starting late September.
I am so looking forward to it! I did a bit of that many years ago and loved it. I guess it is the combination of being creative and doing something technical at the same time. FUN!

sorry i have been MIA for a while. had a long and busy week and weekend last week and then to find out yesterday that DS has pneumonia. so no i am going to go nuts with 2 weeks off of work. this week with my son and next due to the fact that we will be shut down for the week.

The past couple days have been pretty hot during the day here, but, the nights have been wonderful. Did a fire in the pit and s'mores with the girls last night. :beach: The oldest has been visiting a bit lately. :cheer2: The youngest's attitude seems to be improving since I've been staying home. :cheer3: I'm trying to just enjoy the moment and not worry about when I have to return to work. Kinda hard for a mom to do, but, I'm trying. :rolleyes:

Hi, All and Happy 4th! Back from vacation and I just can't believe that this one's not dead yet! Well, I'll keep helping it along whenever I can, but we'll be out of town again for the next couple days to see my fil as his b-day is the 5th and we're almost certain it'll be his last one, so we're going to make it as good as possible.

So, anyway, you all have a great 4th of July and holiday weekend! (For those who don't celebrate the 4th, just have a fantastic weekend!)

I can do without sucking up for an hour or so as I just came from an event where you'd think I was recently descended from heaven. Boy, do they have it wrong! (It was a volunteer award presentation and a complete surprise. Of course I had on jeans and an old T-shirt instead of my velvet and pearls! Can hardly wait to see the pictures! :) )
