And always remember to ......
Look out for number one and Don't step on number two |
Had to pick up dog poo tonight since the gardener comes tomorrow...thanks for the reminder BARGOO.
|
See, I told you so. Those with power don't pick up poo. They have their husbands do it.
|
In the streets of Munich there are decorated lions.
In the streets of Cherokee there are decorated bears. Do other cities have such statues? What do they decorate? What city has the tigers? Dorothy? Toto? |
Salt Lake City has decorated Sea Gulls. Swear to Gawd. Most bizarre thing I've ever seen.
|
Life size or giant size?
|
Giant Size, at least as far as seagulls go.
|
Nothing can compare with the hideous statue in San Jose, Ca. It is an eight foot tall statue of Quetzalcoati an Aztec God , actually a serpent, or to us common folk , a snake. There was a picture of it in the paper with the subtitle "Aesthetic Crime Scene ", another reporter refers to it as a pile of dog poop. I agree with both. It is beyond ugly.
|
My city is honoring me with a giant statue...
at least that's the rumor I am spreading... back to picking up dog doo...the guys from work are coming over soon.... |
Yep, dog poo would probably be the best medium to use in that case.
|
Dog poo would probably make a better statue than this one in downtown Tampa. Bout the size and appearance of a metal stegasaurus - or flower.
Stego |
We have a statue in downtown Ottawa that is referred to as "The Giant Turd". I'll can't find a picture so it may have been removed. I did find another one though. We pay taxpayers' money for this crap? ....although it is kind of cute.
I'm going to be a bit "seldom" around here for a while - that's a Delta expression. When we get close to 500, somebody nudge me, OK? |
good morning
|
Oh, I forgot. Some guys took a bunch of stones, put them in wire cages, set them at the library and screwed the citizens of Rock Springs, WY out of a bunch of tax dollars.
|
This piece of public art isn't too bad.
Brick locomotive It's carved in brick and represents the history of the community. |
That's freaking way cool!!! Now that's what they should have done at the library back home.

Saying "Hello" to EZ Money-The 3FC Eunuch.

Bargoo - I found pictures of your snake statue. I agree - not very artistic.
So EZ - what's the EZ-Statue commemorating? |

Hello!
I've come out to play! Kids are done school and I get to sleep in and stay up late. Teaching them some new life skills this week! Ha that is mommy's sneeky way of saying YOU GOT CHORES to do! They have not picked up on my sneekness yet! We have a statue of what appears to be a clump of intestines in front of our courthouse. Take what you please with that image and blend with inuendo! |

|
Now your about to get your butt whooped.
|
OK, this is for the chicks, although, Bill and EZ probably have a pretty good idea about it too. :s:
HOW IN THE **** DO YOU GET USED TO CARRYING A PURSE??? :?: I finally broke down and got a little one so I can carry my phone, wallet and camera when the girls and I go to do family time. But, the stupid thing is driving me nucking futs!!! :tantrum: I actually forgot to put my seatbelt on for awhile cause it was across my chest. I DON'T EVA FORGET THAT! This blows!!! |
I flatout refuse to use a purse.
I have a backpack that contains half my life with room to spare for a book and my lunch and it goes everywhere with me. I never worry about having forgotten something when I change purses to match my outfit or any of that kind of stuff. I guess I am just not a girly girl, I am a jeans 'n t-shirt tomboy with a backpack. |
I'm with you on the purse thing. My sartorially correct sister says I should use one as "It's the adult thing to do!" Duh! I have pockets and, in a pinch, stash things in my bra. (Set off the security in the airport once from my cell phone.) Back in the bad old days, I had an attache case and a frassing purse and kept losing the purse. I've yet to lose my bra.
EZ, have you considered a bra? |
I rarely carry a purse and when I do I am highly likely to leave it behind or fret about leaving it behind. Since I stash stuff in my pockets, I have to keep pockets in mind when I buy clothes, which further limits choices. Sadly as sizes get smaller, so do pockets. I carry a small wallet, a personal cell phone, a company blackberry, a key chain with one electronic key and change daily.
I stash my badge and checkbook in my lunchbox. Whenever I decide I don't need my lunchbox as I'm eating out, I end up at work with no way to get in the building. :o (Receptionist doesn't get there will 7:45 to sign out a badge; I get there about 7:30) Anytime I do start to carry a purse, it starts collecting junk - receipts, extra change, coupons, gift certificates, etc. - and getting heavy. ETA: Hmmmm, just like my lunchbox is doing. |

never thought about a nut-bra before.... I'll have to check into it Ruthie :) |

But, now I'm out on the dating market again, so I don't really want my butt and boobs looking all lumpy and bumpy. :s: Money and ID are OK, but, the phone and the camera tend to throw off the "look" I'm going for. Quote:

Yeah, maybe I should mention that on the dating site I've been on. Could pick up some interest that way. Ya never know.

I just wish Angie would have been more into yoga positions when I was younger with energy!

You probably couldn't have even handled it then.

Here in Northern California it was too darn hot to do anything but think of ways to stay cool. It's going to be hot today, too.
