Operator265 07-19-2009 12:56 AM

40 years after walking on the moon!

Although we've got the Hubble and rovers on Mars, it's hard to believe how little more we've done in 40 years.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.

EZMONEY 07-19-2009 01:47 PM

what's left to achieve WEB...after reaching the moon?

Good question maybe Bill can enlighten us, oops, I might be sorry I suggested that,

BillBlueEyes 07-19-2009 05:12 PM

Places to visit next.

Mercury, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto for starters.

And then perhaps Saturn's moons, such as Titan or those with wonderful names: Hyperion, Mimas, Prometheus, and Pandora. I'm ready to sign up.

It's kinda exciting celebrating the 40th anniversary of Apollo; I remember the first lunar landing fresh as yesterday.

Operator265 07-19-2009 06:13 PM

Crap, now I'm starting to thing like Bill. I pretty much thought the same thing. I'm gonna go bang my head against a wall now.

EZMONEY 07-21-2009 12:09 AM

NO...it was because you wore your balls on the outside of your panties!

Operator265 07-21-2009 12:10 AM

NOOOOO! It was because I had more balls than the guys on the job site!

EZMONEY 07-21-2009 12:17 AM

Operator265 07-21-2009 12:24 AM

I just keep my X's in my dresser drawer as I always have. That's why the judge granted them to me in the divorce. He figured the X would just lose them again anyways.

BillBlueEyes 07-21-2009 05:49 AM

And the topic of this thread is ? ? ?

Ruthxxx 07-21-2009 07:21 AM

Operator, get them bronzed and use them for bookends.

Just checking in between doing stuff for the Fair. It doesn't open until Thursday but there is lots to do before then, Yesterday's crisis was no port-a-potties for the midway workers who arrived overnight to start ride set-up. Luckily most of them slept in! Today's crisis? Who knows but there'll be something!

EZMONEY 07-21-2009 08:16 AM

Karen31 07-21-2009 08:50 PM

Just peekin' in to say Hello! We will be spreading my Dad's ashes tomorrow...Kind of feeling blah tonight....

EZMONEY 07-21-2009 10:02 PM

Sorry Karen....I hope it turns out to be a nice experience in spite of why you are there. Like the new picture.

I haven't been to Disneyland for about 15 years....I live 45-60 minutes away w/o traffic. Is there something wrong with me?

Well, yes, but that has nothing to do with whether you go to Disneyland or not. In your case I believe it's congenital. (And before you focus on the "genital" portion of that word, you big oaf) That means you were born with it!
Besides, You'll be doing your share of time at Disneyland when the grandbabies start coming along.

Karen, I'll be thinking of you.
