I'm 5'2" (or maybe slightly shorter).
Currently 173.
My size 14 jeans (Old Navy) fit well, but everything has to be hemmed because my legs are so stinkin' short!
I definitely carry lots of weight in the top and waist, but no so much on the bottom. My shirts are all 14/16s, or XL or even XXL (depending on store). I have a pretty large "chestal area" as my friend would say.

Button gapping can be an issue.
This thread is a great idea, but I've pretty much determined that the only way I'm ever going to know what size I can wear at a certain weight is to get there myself!!
