Me, I just like to keep nightlights on so I can see where I'm going in the middle of the night. haha
I don't know... I have a couple friends who know everything there is to know about me, including all my fears... which aren't much. I used to have a fear of bridges. Not, like, deathly afraid but just overly cautious of bridges and only because I keep reading about all these bridges and overpasses that collapse and how city bridges are the worse and so on and so forth.
I'm afraid of the dark too. I stopped sleeping with an actual nightlight when I was 12. But last year I got into this habit of sleeping with the tv on when dh was away on deployment.
I'm terrified of being home alone at night. If I'm in a room I make sure the lights are out, just incase someones outside peaking in, that why they can't see me but I can see them.
This irrational fear only started maybe a year or two ago. No idea why. I'm terrified of peeping toms. Random.
I had to think about this one for a while because generally I'm a pretty open person, but I did finally come up with a couple of things:
I once ordered $100 worth of Burt's Bees stuff when I was 16 and told my mom that I won it. She is very "frugal" and I knew she wouldn't understand my sort of First Job Celebration. To this day she has no idea.
I internet chatted for a while with a guy who ended up asking me out. I still lived at home at the time and being no dummy I had him pick me up at home so that my parents could get a good look at him - you know, just in case he turned out to be an axe murderer. My parents still think I met the guy at work.
I have a touch of self-diagnosed OCD. My husband jokingly calls me "Sleeping with the Enemy" when it kicks into overdrive. Examples: The towels have to be aligned a certain way, folded laundry has to be a certain way (otherwise I refold it), my spice rack is alphabetized, and my wardrobes are divided seasonally and sorted according to color. I am one strange cookie!
When I was 16..I was tired of being a virgin, so I met this guy online..and after talking to him for a few months, invited him over so we could do it. I ended up changing my mind..and the guy ended up stalking me. It was pretty scary. It was probably the stupidest thing I've ever done.
I scare myslef. Several times daily. I'll start thinking of something... maybe a show I watched recently or maybe I'll just think about something... and then my mind goes nuts! I imagine some scarry thing happening to me or someone I know. I could be a completely harmless thought but then my mind takes it and turns in into something terrifying.

Something kinda like that happens to me. Someone will mention something... usually some scary scene in a movie, and then my mind obsesses over it, remember that and other scary things, and I end up scaring the crap out of myself.
Such as... someone mention a particular scene in Pet Semetary one day, and for the next few nights I couldn't stand next to my bed... run and JUMP into bed lol.

Ok, I guess I can share another one... I can't bring myself to eating leftovers if they are older then a day left over. I cringe when I hear my friends tell me that they made something like on a Monday and ate it again on a Thursday or Friday. *shudder* I could only eat it on that Tuesday, any other day afterwards is a no-no.

No-that is NORMAL. Any main dish, that contains meat especially, should only be kept for 48 hours after it was made...and it should be refrigerated within 2 hours of being cooked. The only way you should make it on Monday and eat it on Friday is if it has been thrown in the freezer inbetween.
It's called FOOD SAFETY.
Obviously, things like cake/cookies/breads etc. can be kept longer if sealed in Tupperware or Rubbermaid or something like that.
