I am smiling today because I had dinner at Macaroni Grill....bought a new bible at Barnes and Noble...and got fitted for my tux for DD's wedding this month.

I am smiling today because it was my son's birthday and I only had one small piece of cake and a little ice cream. If it was 3 wks ago I would have had several big pieces and lots of ice cream.

I am smiling today because Angie and I made it through our annual Mother's Day street fair of 90,000 plus! By again beating the crowd by getting there at 7am and having breakfast.

I am smiling because it was a gorgeous day at the fair and we picked up a very cute little "I AM THE BRIDE" top from a vendor that my daughter absolutely LOVES!!

I am smiling today because Angie and I went to Fry's last night after a dinner at Islands...picked up her Mother's Day present from me, a new digital camera ~ the main reason I am is because I didn't have to pick it out or wrap it...just pay for it! The easy part

OH I almost forgot..another reason I am is I offered to make spinach lasagna (her favotite dish that I make) for her tomorrow...she said "thanks but no thanks" it is going to be too hot for lasaga...how about "we" just BBQ some really good angus burgers...OH YEAH! ...now that is "as good as it gets!"

I am smiling because I'm wearing a top that makes me feel pretty and I am going to the farmers market with a friend and then afterwards a part w/ hubby's family to celebrate our anniversary and mothers day - the in laws part kinda sucks, but the thought I might have a margarita to make them tolerable keeps me smilin' *LOL*
