I am smiling today because my son came by for dinner, with his wife in FLA. visiting her dad. Always good to see him.

I am smiling because my ex-wife came by and said we did great on the BBQ sales at the Viking Festival my family volunteered for this week-end. $$$ for a good cause!

I am smiling today because my blood work came in and showed lower testosterone levels and normal metabolic, kidney and liver function. Plus, cholesterol and BP are astonishingly normal!!!

I am smiling today because I got home in time to walk the dogs 1.5 miles ~ their easy day, do 3.5 on the treadmill, vacuumn the house for Angie and get my lasagna in the oven I made a few weeks ago. Still trying to learn to cook for 2-3 instead of 6! But, it is nice to have a spare lasagna ready to go!

I'm smiling today because one of my clients bought my company lunch and I ordered something reasonable and healthy.

I am smiling today because I am here surrounded by fires and I am safe. My family is safe. My friends are safe. My church is safe.

I am also smiling because not only are Angie and I meeting my son and daughter in law for Italian, as planned....but my daughter just called and is meeting us too....without my son in law .....poor guy has a class and won't get another free meal outta me!

I'm smiling today because I reclaimed 22 hangers in my closet. I haven't even gone through the drawers yet. But I have 22 empty hangers now. The donation box is huge!

I am smiling today because my son and a friend of his came by to watch some high school football game I had DVR'd and my daughter came by before she went shopping. 3 hours later they were still here!

They ate all my pizza, I ordered for take home last night, for Italian date night...oh well!

My son and daughter in law are in Florida visiting her family ~ my daughter and son in law are in New York City for New Year's ~ but I am smiling because we are home and having a big party tomorrow anyway!
