Are they still teaching the old analog alphabet in College these days?

What with everything digital and on google, doesn't seem that necessary anymore.

4 week old kids just aren't what they used to be ;)

What's with that kid? Obviously born at a different time of the year, my DS dressed up for Halloween and went to a Halloween party when he was just four weeks old.

Ruthxxx 04-27-2011 07:21 AM

California kids are always slower. My kid drove himself to a halloween party at that age.

WebRover 04-27-2011 08:06 AM

Good morning everyone!

[later] Um, happy mid-day everyone.

It used to be the drinking age in WY. Guess they raised it to 2 years old since I left.

WebRover 04-27-2011 08:09 PM

Whew! Thought I was going to have to do three greetings in a row.

BillBlueEyes 04-27-2011 08:17 PM

They tried to make me hunt Easter eggs at 4 weeks, but when I saw my older siblings going after the eggs I jumped at the chance to get a turn on the computer to play Pac-Man. They'd never let me have a turn otherwise.

bargoo 04-28-2011 09:50 AM

At 4 weeks of age I was coloring and decorating them myself .

Ruthxxx 04-28-2011 11:06 AM

Ar four weeks, I was laying them. Top that!

I'd like to see a picture of them after they hatched.

You're just being silly teasing us.

Everyone knows that the Easter Bunny lays eggs.

The picture is posted right below EZ's Screen Name. :fr:

WebRover 04-28-2011 09:14 PM

Speaking of EZ, I'll bet he's off playing with that grandbaby of his instead of paying proper attention to the dixiecups!!

Cute one, Web. If you have too much time on your hands, come up here and help me garden.

With true Canadian humility
Good morning.

bargoo 04-29-2011 10:06 AM

How many of you stayed up and watched the Royal Wedding. ? I did . I don't sleep anyway so might as well....

WebRover 04-29-2011 12:46 PM

Nope - I went back to bed shortly before it started. Saw some highlights this morning.

Going to a baseball game this evening - the Rays. DH and DD are the true fans but I'll go along.

I'm glad we didn't plan to drive across the state today to see the launch, as it was just postponed to Sunday.

EZMONEY 04-29-2011 07:44 PM

So I LISTENED to the Royal Wedding re-cap as I sat in front of my job at 5am this morning....weired....

got to hold my GRANDdaughter for an hour today when I got home from being out of town all week...she smiled at me...then tooted!

In the old days I would go home and see Angie first...

Better stay on the good side of Angie, that granddaughter will grow up quicker that you think.

WebRover 04-30-2011 04:37 AM

I'm surprised you didn't meet Angie at the granddaughter's house and have to find a polite way to wrestle granddaughter away from her.

Oooh. 400 to go, I see. (looks around - where's Bill?)

Ruthxxx 04-30-2011 06:52 AM

Bill's birding ... feathered kind, not girls. (I think.)

Oh I would have had to except I beat her there from work :) But before you feel bad for her I must remind you all she was sending me pictures of Kaia and talking to me the night before from my son's house, letting me hear the little one's attempts at making noise.

:D I have been in trouble since the day we met!

Our Friday night Date night now is getting take-out and going to son and dil's house to watch the little onewhile they go out to dinner or as in last night, since son was coaching track until 10pm, allow dil to go grocery shopping....:cloud9:

Operator265 04-30-2011 08:02 AM

OMG!!! There was a shoot out going down on my way to work!!! Dude shot a cop in the leg. Stupid cops arrested the SOB instead of just shooting him. Great, now we all get to support him for the rest of his sorry life behind bars. Haven't these cops ever heard of "Resisting Arrest"?

Was there no "hanging tree" available ?

Operator265 04-30-2011 09:01 AM

I think the guy in the Town Car in front of me hit that tree when he tried to turn around in the street instead of simply using the drive way 5 ft away.

Thinking about it now, the guy in the Town Car probably shoulda got shot too.

I'm detecting a pattern.

bargoo 04-30-2011 11:51 AM

lord help us if operator ever starts carrying a weapon.

EZMONEY 04-30-2011 12:01 PM

Heck I'd vote for her!

bargoo 04-30-2011 12:51 PM

I'd want to be standing BEHIND her , for sure !

Stepping Out 04-30-2011 01:59 PM

Hi

I'm still here..just don't feel much like playing lately :(. Sounds like I'm missing all kinds of excitement ;)

WebRover 04-30-2011 02:07 PM

We know da Operator likes to blow things up with dynamite. Are we thinking she's been restraining herself in her leisure and commute time?

If she starts? :?: She's from WY. She probably has for a looooooooooonnnnnggggg time. :D

Don't worry though. You're safe. She only believes in returning fire when it comes to humans. Unlike The Dick Cheney:rolleyes:, she doesn't go off hap-hazardly blowing away her friends.

Although, she is having some interesting thoughts now on dealing with murderers, rapists and pedophiles through the use of explosives. Thanks for the idea Webbie. She may have to formulate a plan to present to The Justice Department. :s:

Oh, and it's ANFO, not dynamite. That stuff is way too unstable to be dealing with on a regular basis.

EZMONEY 04-30-2011 10:35 PM

Ok...I don't wanna step in on Miss TNT's territory but when my GRANDdaughter is ready to blow..

ie poopy pants or...

SC-A....reeeeemmmmm

you better watch out!

Ruthxxx 05-01-2011 07:45 AM

ANFO - now I need to Google and Sunday is supposed to be my day of rest. :(

EZMONEY 05-01-2011 08:15 AM

This could get ugly.....

WebRover 05-01-2011 09:45 AM

Interesting story about Phoebe Snow on Sunday morning today. I didn't realize she died this week.

BillBlueEyes 05-02-2011 11:53 AM

117 . . .

383 to go

The sun is shinning on the East Coast.

Ruthxxx 05-02-2011 01:32 PM

It's not shining one darned bit in Eastern Ontario. I guess we need a coast!

Operator265 05-02-2011 01:36 PM

ANFO = Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil(Diesel)

Mix the two together with a blasting cap and booster and you get one heck of a bang for your buck.

Ruthxxx 05-02-2011 05:06 PM

Yummy! I wonder where I could get it. I have a neighbour I'd like to take out.
