Good going webrover ! Keep your birthday a secret so we will all feel like jerks for not wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!

WebRover 04-19-2011 09:36 PM

It's just another day older. All greetings appreciated. No bad or sad feelings toward anyone who doesn't wish me a happy day.

bargoo 04-19-2011 09:38 PM

You got the easy job, I have to stay in and make cupcakes.

Ruthxxx 04-23-2011 01:46 PM

Wanna trade?

I thought cupcakes would be easier than a cake because you don't have to slice nice, even pieces. Well, cupcakes are a pain in the neck to fill all those little paper cups before you put it in the oven.

I used to be obsessive about even cutting. Then it dawned on me that people don't all want the same amount, especially with desserts. Now, I deliberately cut things like pizza and cakes in different sizes unless it's for something involving a bunch of kids who would whine about fairness being about getting the same amount rather than it being about everyone getting as much as they need.

bargoo 04-23-2011 03:47 PM

And a bunch of grubby little hands will be grabbing up these cupcakes.

Ya, well that's different. That's about cleanliness being nowhere near next to a bunch of running, screaming, jumping, filth gathering parasites.

such as Bill and EZ

EZMONEY 04-23-2011 06:46 PM

Speaking of gathering parasites...

should I scratch this thing or leave it alone?

it kinda smells a little....

bargoo 04-23-2011 06:53 PM

I noticed an odor around here, too. Oh! it's my dog, he needs a bath and a haircut.

Ruthxxx 04-24-2011 06:51 AM

So does EZ. You'd think he'd have cleaned up for Easter!

bargoo 04-24-2011 07:12 AM

How many of you are out looking for Easter Eggs this morning ?

BillBlueEyes 04-24-2011 07:15 AM

Happy Easter, to those who celebrate it.

Otherwise, Happy Sunday, to those who use the Gregorian Calendar.

Otherwise, Happy Springtime to those who celebrate the earth's cycle.

Otherwise, G'day to 'ya.

Ruthxxx 04-24-2011 07:17 AM

I'm about to go out and HIDE eggs in the woods behind the Church. The kids (and dogs) love that part of this Sunday. We use plastic eggs and some of them have doggie treats. No chocolate is allowed because sometimes the dogs get the wrong egg and sometimes the kids get the dried liver treats!

EZMONEY 04-24-2011 08:28 AM

:easter3: HAPPY EASTER to all who celebrate!

Had a great evening with the kids last night....seems GRANDdaughter isn't quite ready to hunt :egg: eggs....

4 week old kids just aren't what they used to be ;)

Ruthxxx 04-25-2011 06:55 AM

It's Monday.

BillBlueEyes 04-25-2011 07:19 AM

For those who celebrate, Easter candy will be on sale today.

Operator265 04-25-2011 04:52 PM

I would like to know just what is so unusual about switching your major from Accounting to Welding. :?:

It's not like they are all that different really.

Ruthxxx 04-26-2011 06:32 AM

Well, they are at opposite ends of the alphabet.

Operator265 04-26-2011 07:42 AM

Then go circular with the alphabet. That way "W" is only 3 letters away from "A". :D

Ruthxxx 04-26-2011 08:49 AM

Is that clockwise or counter-clockwise? And does it change if you are below the equator?

bargoo 04-26-2011 09:07 AM

And do you throw salt over your left shoulder first ?
