Has everybody left early on a 3 day holiday ?

Thanks for all the prayers--- All my family is OK--- some relatives lost their homes but they are alive. Hoping things settle down now..

Good news, Karen, I was wondering if you had heard anything. Sorry that they lost their homes but "things" can be replaced. Just happy to hear they have all been accounted for. It is so sad, so many have lost everything and too many lives have been lost.

Friday again? It was Friday last week , wasn't it ?

We had a three day weekend last week. Now it's your turn.

Can't be interrupted - have a three day weekend to spend.

And it's pleasantly warm around here, without rain.

It will be Saturday all day, I have been told.

And now it's Sunday - and the best part is, tomorrow is NOT a work-day.

What are you doing up so early ?

I've skipped Church this morning as I do not feel "in love and charity with my neighbour and intending to need a new life"! I'm going to soak in a decadent bubble bath, sip coffee and read while I contemplate my sins.

Birthday party tonight, which will include buffet dinner. From past experience and from what I know about tonight's menu, it is unlikely there will be anything on plan. I can hope for salad. I'll make sure I eat a protein-based snack before I leave. But it starts at 4:00 and goes into the evening so wish me the ability to pass up on temptation.:^:
