Karen, it's good to see you and you'll get back on track when you're ready. Death in a family throws a loop into everything.

I did lots this morning. 1 mile fast walk, 2 miles jogging, the 2 mile walk/kick and then took the doggies for a 2 mile walk. 7 miles today. I'm in the hole $8.25 for the ipod (sort of got it a week early because of the holiday specials). So today I brought 7 dollars off it. DS said we could DDR later so I can exercise the last 1.25 off. Then I start a new goal - I'm going to walk/exercise for a wood stove. I'm very excited about that one.

Have a great Sunday.

Way to go, Marie on earning your ipod! What's your incentive? $1 per mile? I may have to think about something like that.

Yesterday, I did 4 miles on the treadmill while listening to Christmas music! It really kept me going! This morning, I chose the 3 mile stretchie workout from the 5 mile DVD. I'm hoping for at least 1 more mile today, so I have a better chance of meeting my November goal.

Happy Monday!

Did two miles from the 5 mile DVD and a few minutes of lifting to get up to 30 minutes.

Michele, I pay myself (move from budget to savings) $1 per mile walking or jogging, $.50 per mile cycling, $25 per song DDR and $.10 per length swimming. Oh, I get a $10 jogging bonus when my jogging miles go over 50 in a month. When I started this last January I really didn't think it would work, but I'm so addicted to it, I think it works great for me. Besides, I've gotten a new LCD projector for my home theater and the new 80G ipod. DH would never have let me rationalize spending that much without reason. Exercise is the reason. Clever and devious, that's me.

BTW, I'm out of the hole $$$ wise. I'm now in the positive at $3.75. I really didn't like the negative number in my walking spreadsheet. so now I'm walking for one of those enamel wood stoves. Hopefully sometime next winter. I could use it today since it is very COLD out today. Brrrr....

I did 5 miles before work...

Yay, a new walker! , Liliann!

I did the 2 mile Express this morning. I didn't get my extra mile in last night and I don't know about tonight. DD has another home basketball game, so supper will be delayed until they finish. I've decided NOT to stress if I don't make my goal for the month. It doesn't do any good and could lead to stress eating!

Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Welcome Lillian. Great job getting started and definitely stay with us.

I did 3 miles jogging and 2 miles walking this morning. I didn't want to but I still did it. If the scale wasn't so tempermental with TOM coming I probably would have been a bit happier about doing it. I hate when the scale tells me I've gained when there no possible way based on my calorie intake. But TOM can screw everything up. Doesn't make it easier to take though. Intellect doesn't always win out over emotions.

Well done Liliann on listening to your body- I think my knees wish I did that a little more often I must admit!

Oh Marie, I can so sympathise! I got my period last week- the week before I stayed at 184 pounds, the week I came on I went up to 185, and now it is finished I have dropped down to 183! Really does my head in!

I did half an hour this morning- half was the Power Mile with weights, the other half was a short Power Yoga video

Thumbs up

I've been depressed so that combined with Thanksgiving, I've managed to gain 2 lbs. Still depressed and very unmotivated but I just forced myself to do WATP- 2 miles and some crunches.

Diva, I hope that the 2 lbs is water weight! Mine fluctuates up and down several lbs. over the course of a few days.

I did 30 minutes of weight training this morning.
