These are the videos I can think of off hand that use resistance bands/stretchie bands
Do the bands have different tensions strenghts? Do the bands come with the DVDs? I am a newbie with this but I think it would be a good addition.

Hello everyone, so I started jogging last week and it was nice to push myself, I jogged 2 miles but it was only 150 calories burned (via sparkpeople). So today it was too hot outside so I put in a WATP dvd and did the 5 Mile Fat Burning dvd...I did all 5 miles and it was just under 500 calories burned (via sparkpeople). Hmmmm...think someone is going to switch to walking lol How many miles do you walk per week to lose weight?

hey gang

I have NOT fallen off the face of the earth I've been really tied up with life for the past 10 days. we work with youth at our church and had several graduations and grad parties to go to, along with our oldest son graduated with 2 degrees so we had several things going on with that and well.....its just been crazy!!! I have gotten less than 6 hours of sleep a nite for the past 10 days and when life is crazy like this I just can't make myself walk but I'm back to normal life as of today

this morning I did 2 miles and used The Big Burn.

tomorrow morning I have an early doctor appt so I'll see y'all on Thursday.

hope everybody has a great day!
hugs,
cathy

Hi everybody!! Today I did the 2 mile High Energy Burn...30 min. I really worked up a sweat, too! Sometimes I seem to sweat more....

Karen-The bands I got with the Boot Camp DVD (they were packaged inside) recently are two different lengths. Leslie shows which to use for each exercise she demonstrates. On one of her websites, there is an area to order replacement equipment that comes with her DVDs, not sure if these bands are included right now.

Hi Naynai!-Welcome to WATP!! 5 miles, that is excellent! I usually walk 3 miles (Boot Camp DVD)-3 times a week, and 2 miles (High Energy Burn)-2 times a week. That has been working well for me lately. I bought a 5 mile DVD, but just can't seem to make myself get up 15-30 min. earlier than I already do to get the above walks done.

Cathy-Good to see you! Congrats to your son!!

Have a good day everyone!

Annie thanks for the infor. I will check her website. Just looking at a package in the store it is hard to know if it is right or not. Glad to hear some experienced users.

Hi everyone, Ive been MIA for almost a week. Reason being, I have now incorporated more strength training into my routine for more weight loss. I will now be walking about 3 days a week (down from 6 days).

Good morning, all! I did the 3 mile Boot Camp this morning. Felt good!

Purduegirl-That's great that you are mixing it up with the strength training. Are you lifting weights or using machines?

Did the 2 mile High Energy Burn w/ weights this a.m.

Karen-Some of the DVDs incorporate the bands into the workout for you. Do you have any that do?

Hi Terre! Glad you are enjoying the Boot Camp, too. I love it myself.

PurdueGirl-Sounds like you are doing the right thing, working with a trainer. Hope the soreness goes away soon!

I passed the halfway mark to my goal weight this morning!

Howdy,
I do not have DVD's with them in it. I will probably get one. I picked up a resistance band at WalMart and am trying it with iFit.com. Don't like the interuption. Also picked up another WATP 5 mile Fat Burning. I really like the 5 mile segments were I can mix and match.

1 Mile Tummy, 1 mile walk around the block, beginning resistance bands.

Keep the ideas coming, sweet peas.

3 mile Boot Camp w/ bands this morning. I'm contemplating taking a DVD with fiance's this weekend. I usually do okay NOT exercising for 2 days, but I don't want to flirt with fate. Not sure I want him to see me sweating like a hog, but may have to go for it for myself.
