There are too many to list but the biggest one is the word DIET! There is no such thing as a diet! To lose weight, keep it off and be the healthiest we can be it is a lifestyle change not a diet!

I recently, read Jillian Micheals "Making the Cut" at least for me eating for my metabolic type has been helping a lot. I am no longer tired and feel a lot better than I have in a very long time.

I also got the bodybugg and it has been the best motivational and visualization tool I have ever found to keep me on track. I will let you guys know how the program goes before singing anymore praises but so far I am totally pleased with the system!

1. What's your top weight, current weight and target?
My highest weight was 170 - mostly due to LTR-induced weight apathy.
Currently yo-yo-ing between 160 and 155...
Target weight is what I was at in college: 135-140.

2. How tall are you?
5' 6-7" (somewhere in between)

3. What's your family situation?
Single, living alone (no roommates) about 6 hours away from my parents (my nearest family). Gets a wee bit lonely.

8. One awesome food you don't want to live without.
Pierogies... recently discovered the awesomeness of frozen pierogies... mmmm.

9. One weightloss lie you've heard.
I've never really been worried about weightloss until recently - I always made fun of people who were dieting or watching their weight because I thought it was so superficial to worry about physical appearance (of course I know better now!). I guess the one that sticks out is that all carbs are bad (complex carbs are good!).

10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness.
Mmmm whole grains. I'm addicted to whole grains and fibrous foodstuffs.

Also, portion control is a big one.

1. What's your top weight, current weight and target?

My top weight is my current weight- not sure exactly, but almost 180 pounds. though i may have lost a couple water pounds these last 3 days of being vigilant! my goal for now is 150. i was always really skinny (125 or less) until i started taking antidepressants about 8 years ago. which was also about the time i turned 30, and i've been admittedly far less active over the years, so i can't attribute it all to antidepressants! i don't need to be skinny again- anxiety and depression kept me at a very low weight. so to make a long story short (too late!) i'm working towards 150 and then i'll reassess.

2. How tall are you?

5'7"

3. What's your family situation?

I am single, never married, no kids, live alone with my sweet silly pit bull!

4. Where do you live?

Baltimore, MD. Not a very healthy city. I miss walking the hilly and beautiful San Francisco (did i mention i'm less active now?)

6. One GOOD song.

Betty Davis' "He Was a Big Freak!"

7. One GOOD TV show.

8. One awesome food you don't want to live without.

PASTA!!! I am not eating it now because I end up eating WAY too much. 2 oz. is supposed to be a serving? If you're a goldfish! So I am cutting out foods I can't control until i get used to normal portion sizes in general.

9. One weightloss lie you've heard.

Colon cleansing.

10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness.

1. What's your top weight, current weight and target?

My top weight was around 190lbs- I measure in metrics so that's not quite precise. My current weight is fairly stably in the early 150s- around 68-69kgs. My target is 63 kgs, but that is just a number and I would stop before then if I achieved the shape I want.

2. How tall are you?

I measured myself yesterday and was overjoyed to discover I have an extra half inch on what I thought was my height- 5'9.5", or 176cm.

3. What's your family situation?

I am preparing to move out of home. I live with my Mum but am also really close to my Dad, who lives across town. They broke up when I was 2 so luckily, having two homes is all I know and I wouldn't have it any other way. My brother by blood is my favourite! He's such a geek and introduced me to the joys of Death Note and Magic: The Gathering and my one true love- Pokemon :B

4. Where do you live?

New Zealand.

5. One GOOD book.

Philip Pullman's The Amber Spyglass

6. One GOOD song.

7. One GOOD TV show.

I hardly ever watch TV! Although our DVD player gets a good workout.

8. One awesome food you don't want to live without.

9. One weightloss lie you've heard.

10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness.
