2. How tall are you? 5'1
3. What's your family situation? Married almost 19 years to HS sweetheart. Two kids: 16 yo son and 12 yo daughter.
4. Where do you live? Outskirts of Atlanta GA, USA
5. One GOOD book. Oooh, I'm an avid reader. Just one? Where the Red Fern Grows - I still cry a good one in the end. This is the first book that I read under the covers with a flashlight until I finished it. Fond memories of my dad showing mercy and letting me continue even though bedtime was way earlier!!
6. One GOOD song. Anything fun or sappy, depending on my mood.
7. One GOOD TV show. Andy Griffith (b&w only) or for adult humor, Everybody Loves Ramond.
8. One awesome food you don't want to live without. Quesadillas with nachos and good salsa
9. One weightloss lie you've heard. "For $39.99, you can lose it all in a few weeks"
10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness. It takes work and determination for anything worthwhile.

I quit weighing myself in a fit of denial. I know I weighed at least 195, so possibly 200+. I'm kind of bummed about it now, because I don't know how much weight I really lost! This morning, I weighed 127.5. I currently bounce around between 126 and 130. Staying under 130 is my target, that's my "red light warning level" weight!

If you can cut some calories to lose some weight, cut MORE calories to lose MORE weight. That thought pretty much helped me "diet" my way to 200 lbs.
10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness.
Reaching goal weight is just the beginning of the hard work for a lifetime at a healthy weight.

10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness. Be persistant! and... Plan, Plan, Plan!!!

9. One weightloss lie you've heard. Those ads for diet pills don't clearly state that the person had to do more than take a pill.. they didn't get like that without a proper diet and exercise.
10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness. Exercise and eating healthy together is going to get you much further than one of those alone

Only eat when you're hungry, and stop when you're comfortably full, not stuffed.
