July Recap:
HW: 150.6 (ugh)
LW: 145.0
CW (8/6): 146.6
8/6: 146.6
8/7: TOM started 146.4
8/8: 146.2
8/9: 147.2
8/10: 145.8
8/11: 145.8
8/12: 145.6
I doubled up on my workout and went for a run yesterday and I am sore today. My dad is coming into town tonight and I imagine that means we will be going out for dinner so I am anticipating a high calorie night, hoping that doesn't affect my progress.

(Under 120 lbs on my higher scale in NY, my lower scale in PA reads 1lb lower)
Fantasy goal weight- under 110
Goal weight- 112 lbs
I'm okay where I am though
Lowest in July- 117.8 lbs
8/1 119.2 lbs (LS)
8/2 119.0 lbs (LS)
8/3 118.2 lbs (LS)
8/4 118.8 lbs (LS)
8/5 118.2 lbs (LS)
8/6 118.2 lbs (LS)
8/7 117.2 lbs (LS)
8/8 116.8 lbs (LS)
8/9 117.2 lbs (LS)
8/10 117.4 lbs (LS)
8/11 117.6 lbs (LS)
8/12 118.6 lbs (LS)
8/13 118.4 lbs (LS)
8/14 118.2 lbs (LS)
8/15 118.4 lbs (LS)
8/16 118.6 lbs (LS)
This is seriously making me nuts. I need to not be obsessed with weight.
8/12 Measurements
Chest 35"
Waist 25"
Hips 35"
Body fat: 19.2%
I really don't know what else I can realistically expect than that so I'm going to be happy and ignore my weight. If my measurements go up, then I'll be concerned.
Okay, let's see if this works: net carbs 50 max if I can do this, limit the junk. I ran five miles today and am already at 15k steps and we haven't even been to the gym yet. I'm negative 87 calories right now. If I gain weight again tomorrow something must be off.

Jen you are TINY! We are near the same height and I remember being around your weight, which was a great weight for me... I bet you look amazing!!
[I wrote a whole long response but I think I am hijacking the weigh-in thread with my musings on scales and non-scale goals.... I miss Featherweights chat threads!]
In summary, you are doing so great Jen (19% body fat? ), an inspiration to us all. Checking measurements sounds like a great way to keep track.
August Start Weight: 140.2
August Goal Weight: 134.8 (–5.4 pounds)
8/1 -- 140.2
8/2 -- 140.4

8/5 -- 138.8
8/6 -- 138.6
8/7 -- 138.6
8/8 -- 138.4
8/9 -- 138.2
8/10 - 138.0
8/11 - 137.8
8.12 - 136.4!!! I ended up eating hardly anything yesterday...
On another note, my scale (not that accurate, I know) gave my body fat today at 32%. What the (fill in your curse of choice)?!? I hope I haven't lost that much muscle! Hydration level was normal, 47%. Of course, that being said, my exercise ticker with my ONE day of actual exercise is taunting me...

My Dad came into town and took my husband and I out to dinner and I went crazy I consumer -- a whole bottle of wine, crab rangoons, egg rolls, red curry, etc. It's so hard to say no! So of course, I am up 1.4 lbs this morning I am hoping it's mainly water weight from all the carbs -- I normally eat fairly low carb. Hopefully things are closer to 145 tomorrow.

seize the day - Definitely carbs and actual food weight! Sounds like a YUMMY dinner and totally worth it! ... And sometimes those kids of days end up jump-starting more weight loss a couple of days later
August Start Weight: 140.2
August Goal Weight: 134.8 (–5.4 pounds)
8/1 -- 140.2
8/2 -- 140.4
8/3 -- 141.2

8/5 -- 138.8
8/6 -- 138.6
8/7 -- 138.6
8/8 -- 138.4
8/9 -- 138.2
8/10 - 138.0
8/11 - 137.8
8/12 - 136.4
8/13 - 136.8 ... 2 pounds away from August goal
My scale said I was 34.5% fat today! ... So the same as when I weighed 14 pounds more??? I don't think it is that accurate, but stiiiilllll... makes me think I need to get a real test done. I know I am out of shape and headed for skinny-fatdom since I currently get little exercise, but this seems extreme.
Two different online body fat estimators gave my body fat at 27.4% and 30%.... but if I used the largest weight measurement it went up to 36% for the second one! I do have much more belly fat these days - I'm a pear with an apple belly now, boooo
Anyway, I am going to focus on getting down less than 135 pounds and then the exercise adventure begins. For real. Seriously...

Congrats on that new low, Emma! And I hope people will feel free to start a chat thread. I love them, though I don't always get a chance to post as much as I'd like. But your comments are so fun to read, so I would say don't feel you have to make your posts shorter because this is a weigh-in thread. I like to think of these as all-purpose!

I actually had been afraid to weigh myself because I felt pretty bloated and my IBD is acting up. I might have also been a bit constipated (sorry TMI). I sucked it up and was surprised to see a loss. Now if I can just keep it up so I can reach my goal!

Thanks EmmaD, it was definitely a tasty dinner, I just hate that one big meal bumps me off track for so long
On a side note, my scale doesn't measure fat so I have no idea how much body fat I have, that said -- any idea how your scale and/or the online body fat estimators determine a body fat estimate?
I would be interested to know how much body fat I have...

No change from yesterday. I got in a short workout and run yesterday, but my cals/carbs were still a bit high, I am going to try and get another run in today and really focus on keeping my food in check.
MY anniversary is Saturday, so I am not expecting really great progress until after that happens (pretty sure there will be lots of italian food and wine to celebrate).
