What a super weigh-in - kudos! You really are doing amazingly well, especially with all the traveling.
I put your list into weeks, because I thought the weight-loss pattern was interesting, so different from mine. Yours is much more steady, whereas mine is more of a roller-coaster pattern.
Thanks! And what a good perspective to put that into weeks! I knew I was fairly steady, but thought I had more plateaus than I actually did! Yay fresh pair of eyes!
Fingers crossed that the .8 weight gain is only water weight... I ran 2 miles and my eating was on point yesterday, EXCEPT I had a big pickle before bed last night. SO, all that sodium hopefully equals water weight only. But we will see!
STARTED 1200 CALORIE A DAY DIET - weekly weight-loss goal is point four (.4) pounds
Goal for whenever it shows up: 107.
6/1 - 108.45
6/2 - 108.75
6/3 - 108.35
6/4 - 107.9
6/5 - 107.45
6/6 - Total fast - gave up caffeinated coffee last week, so just had unlimited water and herbal tea.
Official weigh-in, Sunday, June 7: 106.7. Because goal for this week was 107, goal for next week is 106.6.
TBCourt, my money is on the pickle! Soooo yummy but so much sodium.
I'm going out tonight but I'm the designated driver -- hopefully that will keep everything under control. It's a friend's birthday so there will be cake...

June 26 -- 141.8 (+0.6) grrrrrrrr defying the laws of physics yet again, gaining on 902 calories of low carb ... stupid water messes with me . I know, it's just normal fluctuation. But still...
Despite wanting to not focus on the scale, before I do that, I am driven to "be out of the 140s"! This extra weight (anything above high 130s) to me is just a public announcement of how depressed and lazy I became over the last few years. It is NOT "happy weight."
It's crazy how hard it is to lose "just a few pounds"!

I am really sorry to hear that! I hope the chiropractor can figure out what is going on and give you some relief/figure out how to prevent these injuries from recurring.

ummmm YEAH. It constantly amazes me how a few pounds can make such a difference. I am the same going from 143 >>> 138 pounds ... shocking, huge difference.

Thanks, just a temporary illness - honestly I think it was cause and effect of eating off plan! My body can't deal with junk any more... Anyway yes it appeared to have been water; I have never lost 1.6 pounds two days in a row before ...
RE: the trip, it will be hard. I find it impossible to overtly restrict my calories in the presence of people larger than I am... so I try to do it covertly: "saving" the bulk of my calories for the group meals, trying to get a lot of walking and water in, ordering "healthy" items (salads with protein or fish with veggies for example), and not partaking of the fried appetizers/desserts/alcohol/etc.

Let them eat cake (sorry, I couldn't resist )! I know I'd be eating it, and making it up somewhere else later - just relax and have fun, whatever happens!

HW ~ I chuckled at your "let THEM eat cake" comment. ;-)
KristiP ~ You're doing really well!!!! Almost to your goal!!!
7 lbs ~ How you doing after the weekend?
~~~
I'm back from a weekend retreat getaway down to the Jersey shore. Was working the whole time, but was still good to have a bit of a break. Went out for a drink two nights running... The first night I stuck to diet coke, the second night, I had a glass of Pinot grigio and I rewarded myself with another glass of pinot when I came home on Sunday. Am pretty pleased that I managed to stay pretty steady, weight wise. Never felt deprived at all, just tried not to stuff myself with random snacks. (and the reward of an adult beverage doesn't hurt, either...)
Based on my past history, I know that it's the post-event let down that usually gets to me the worst, so am really proud of myself for NOT bingeing when I came home.
This weekend was ROUGH! (Hangs head low in shame). I had many social events I attended and ate a TON, including deep dish pizza last night. OUCH. I was afraid to even post my numbers here, but I need to stay accountable. This week will include challenges as well, but hopefully I can make up for it with a lot of workouts and low cal meals whenever I can. I guess I need to look at the month of June as a maintaining month, at least I didn't gain! July should be better, other than the 4th nothing too much going on.
