when i go to the grocery store i just stock up on fruits and veggies i really like that i know i'll eat. then i get whole wheat bread and english muffins and sometimes pita bread. kashi cereal. skim milk. low fat yogurt. reduced fat feta cheese, and another kind of cheese for sandwiches... usually muenster. i only use one piece. i can't give up cheese cause i love it so much. then i'll get some pretzels or triscuits or something salty. then a low fat ice cream sandwich or cone... weight watchers or skinny cow or something. and deli meat... turkey or chicken. then all natural tomato sauce with no sugar or high fructose corn syrup or any other chemical crap in it.

sometimes i like to make pizza out of whole wheat pita bread.
take a half of a whole wheat pita, put some of the healthy tomato sauce on it, a basil leaf or two, a slice of mozzerella, and some mushrooms. put it in the toaster oven. so good.

i find that not eating out has really helped me. when you eat out you never know what you're getting. restaurants tend to use a lot of oil. blegh. at least when i cook i can count exactly how many calories i'm eating.

I've been getting a little freaked out lately by eating out. Before I put a bite in my mouth, I'm thinking "how am I going to enter (fill in the blank) in Fitday? What am I getting myself into!"
