Exclamation Glory 87's story relates to us

This is from Glory 87's story.

" It took me 6 months to lose 55 lbs and then another 9 months to lose the last 15 lbs. Weight loss DEFINITELY slowed down as I weighed less!"

Does that not describe all of us perfectly?

Wink Eat like a cat - next weekend

The full idea is in my blog but I'm going to try something different next weekend with my eating - the snacking/grazing principle.

Was going to do it this weekend but I have to plan this a bit more as that's how I'm successful - with advance planning .

And we have guests this evening, with dinner out and birthday cake and champagne. Kinda hard to graze on that!

Have a terrific weekend everyone! Spring is coming! Two groundhogs can't be wrong - CAN THEY???

I had a huge run in with popcorn yesterday. Sat up watching ridiculous TV until midnight.

However ... today is a beautiful sunshining day here. We went grocery shopping and bought fabulous foods. I have a pot of chili brewing. Yes, it's a better day all around.

I find I can't eat more than about a bag and a half of popcorn (390 cals.). And we get the one with the least calories. It has the least appeal, of course, but maybe that's why I can only eat about a bag and a half.

Definitely! I've been working on the last five lbs for over a year now!

I thought I would never lose the final ten, but I finally did. I was actually surprised (and happy) when I stepped on the scale and saw I was at goal. Persistence is the answer, do not give up.

Thanks Dagmar! Like some others it took me forever! It took me 1 1/2 years to lose 30 lbs. and then another couple of years to lose 8!!!! Slow and steady wins the race, I guess.
Good luck on your grazing. That is how I eat every day. People are always commenting that I'm eating all the time!

The sun is finally out here. It's been raining (again) for a couple of days. I know I'm a weather wimp.

Hope everyone is having a nice, relaxing OP weekend. Talk to you next week. Jane
