Man, I am so sore! My trainer is having me try this new program where I lift really heavy

and don't do any cardio during our workouts. It's really kicking my butt

. I've been walking around like an old woman for days now and a couple of nights ago I even broke out the ice packs.
Then, today I had the bright idea that I should run intervals before my class, which is a combo of high intensity cardio and weights. After not having run for two months, my calves just aren't used to it anymore. Plus between that and the cardio in my class, I'm feeling pretty tired. It felt really good to run the intervals but I think I'm going to sleep well tonight.
