I'm trying to get back on track after missing three workouts due to illness last week. So far I've worked out every day since Saturday. 20 min on the elliptical, 10 min running, and 15 min abs on both Sat and Sun, one hour with my trainer on Mon, and 1 hour spin class, 10 min running, and 15 min abs yesterday. Saturday was a doozy but every day it gets a little better. I'm still congested so I don't know when I'll be back to my regular intensity.

The really annoying spin instructor actually brought candy to the class yesterday! Can you believe that? You expect this sort of sabotage from your co-workers, friends, and family, but not from your spin instructor! And she commented again to the whole class about how much I was sweating. "Wow, everyone, look how much Barbara is sweating!"

Ennay - how do you manage to get in such great runs when you are sleep deprived? Even though you binged, at least you have great exercise on your side.

I, for one, did not exercise AGAIN today. Good job to Ilene and Barbara for getting back on the wagon! I am using being sick last week as a bit of an excuse, but I could have gone to gym and at least walked or lifted.

I have done well with eating this week, but tomorrow will be tough. LOTS of Valentines treats will be at work - we are actually bringing in dishes for a potluck lunch, so I know that will mean lots of unhealthy fare. Plus DH is cooking a steak dinner tomorrow night. I need to try to be good!

Because I have a friend waiting for me in the dark and cold and from years of insomnia I know that staying in bed isnt going to help. After the first 20 minutes insomnia doesnt affect the workout that much.

I am definitely the opposite of a lot of people. I have no problem with the exercise, its the dang food

4.2 today, good food day yesterday and finally got to move the ticker 0.4 lbs.

I skipped working out yesterday and today. OK, yesterday my neck hurt, and today, I was just too lazy to get out of bed. Cardio tomorrow, weights Saturday. I will get back on track...

Today a neighbour with a snowblower came before I was finished. What a relief! There's so much and I don't know where to put it anymore.

However, 25 minutes shoveling isn't too shabby.

Down 2 more lbs since I last posted on this thread. 1 more pound to go and I'm out of the "overfat" range for my height

I've also reclaimed my "fat" jeans - so I'm starting to fit into the bigger sizes in my closet again. Thank God!

I ran intervals on Saturday and Sunday for the first time since October and my knee injury! I felt great and on Sunday ran .5 mph faster than I did on Saturday. I think I could have pushed myself more on Saturday but I'm trying to go slow with my knee. Another .5 mph and I'll be back up to my pre-injury speed.

Now all I need to do is get back up to a 6 mile run outdoors on Sunday and I'll be back!

I was running intervals twice a week and running 6 miles once a week when I hit my lowest weight ever (112 lbs). I have high hopes that getting back to the running will get me there again (or at least below 115--not sure I really need to get back down to 112).

I was not happy with my weigh-in this morning, because I have been ''good'' ... Oh, well, c'est la vie!!

Today I did 1h30mins leg workout at the gym ... felt totally awesome ...
I just finished 40 mins ... Totally awesome feeling also ...
