Default Blowing it, but getting back on the horse

Sorry to be self indulgent, but I have to brag!

I've been following FS P1 for about 2 weeks - I extended it because I had a minor set back around day 6. I've also found that I feel great, so I plan on sticking with P1 for a while. But, I digress...

I severely fell off the wagon last night - had chicken riggies with vodka sauce. Being a teacher, I use the scale in the nurse's office, and wanted to weigh myself before the long weekend. Much to my delight and surprise, when I weighed in this AM, I had lost another 3 pounds since Monday!!!

I think I've finally found the program that I can stick with and not feel totally guilty if I have a weak moment. In the past, I'd stray and never get back on track. NOT THIS TIME %#@&% IT!!!

OK - I'm done now. Thanks for listening. I'll return the favor some time.

That's great...I totally fell off the wagon today. I am so glad to see your post...in the past, I would just quit, but I know now that I should just hop back on tomorrow and forgive myself instead of kicking myself while I'm down. I have had a stressful day and we went to the waffle house. UGH! I was down 6 lbs, but I'm sure I've gained back after today.

Anyway, good for you. Keep it going.

If I can do it, Mom, anyone can! You are definitely right about forgiving yourself. I think that's what's different this time. How many times have we all heard the thing about not losing weight "until you're ready". Well, I guess we're ready. Good luck!

You are so right! I cheated on Mothers Day and I also prolonged phase 1 because of it and I am now down 19 lbs!

I have had no problem sticking to it since then. I am not hungry and I feel great! I have 11lbs to go to meet my first goal! Then I will set a new one.

Congrats to you and keep going!!

Default Been off the bandwagon a minute ...

I have been off the bandwagon for a minute now and was feeling aweful because I started all over again with not being able to look in a mirror. Fortunately, I have not gained all of my weight back but I have gained 3 inches back to my middlle.

I did buy the new Fat Smash book - read it and hated the concept so I got real disappointed. I plan to go back to Phase 1 of book 1- and start fresh.

I was hoping to be 60 lbs down by next month.

One day at a time I guess. I am just glad to be back.

Looking forward to meeting all of you again.

Good luck

Default I am still amazed

All, I was glad to see your posts.......To those who "fell off"......we don't have to wait til tomorrow to get back on.....we can get back on with the next meal..I agree with those who say you feel better on FS phase I. I feel so full that even if I do cheat a little bit, it is just a little bit. I have been craving all kinds of carbs today, but tonight I had fresh strawberries, and wow! What a treat. My fiber intake today was 40 gms.....hard to get into too much trouble with that much fiber in you!

Stay with it, ladies.......and try to remember, even if we do blow it, we can always get right back on track the same day......minimize the damage......don't try to starve, just get back on FS. Have a great week!
