Well, today is my first day. I weighed in this morning, 170.2 (higher than I thought it was going to be), and will weigh again on February 1st. My DH is pretty excited, he's pretty much vegan and he's liking the recipes I found on this site. Some new things for him to eat! So wish me luck! I'm going to have some pretty good headaches for a few days, I'm a diet pepsi drinker, and it's going to be cold turkey withdrawal but I know it's worth it.

Hello IamSum1sbratt - I am also in Lex KY! Small world!

Congrats to everyone here just starting out - you have decided to make the hange to eating and exerising and that is half the battle. One I started losing and seeing results, I wasn't tempted to cheat beause I loved seeing the lbs fall off. I HATED exercising and now I enjoy it - it gets me out of the house at dinner time, helps me de-stress and I sleep better. With exercise in the beginning, the hardest part was getting in my car to head to the gym.

Some other things I have noticed since I started fat smashing, exercising and drinking a minimum of 70 oz of water daily - my skin is better, not nearly as dry and my face doesn't break out like it used to. Also I really want to better myself in other ways - I am taking vitamins and calcium supplements daily and I am adding flax seed into my smoothies and oatmeal for the healthy omega 3s. I find myself wanting to do everything to be a healthier person. I hope all of you out there get as inspired as I have been, I am really feeling like a new person.

GOOD LUCK! Lem

I had a lot of problems with vitamins making me sick and my dr suggest kids chewables so thats what take I hope everyone has a great week! Lem

Take the multivitamins with food...I find that if I take them on an empty stomach they bother me too....

Interesting diet.

Default I start tomorrow

Tomorrow I will be starting the diet. It sounds okay. Hopefully I will stick to it. A friend of mine has lost over 16 pounds since November on this diet. She looks great. Wish me luck.

I messed up. I'm thinking about starting over. Stupid cake and cookies. They tasted sooo yummy, but it's not worth gaining weight over. Wish me luck, again.

Good luck Krey80. I know you can do it!
