But this time I have major motavation. We are going on a beach vacation this summer so i have to be able to get into a bathing suit.

Wine is my downfall too! That and CHEESE. I won't be able to do anything in moderation regarding these two items, so cold turkey it is!

Hi, I'm new here. I saw this way of eating and this website on another board, researched, bought the book on ebay and I'm ready to start. It will probably be this weekend as my DH made me a meatloaf and I'll need to finish that before I can start (he's vegan so he won't eat it). I'm so excited! My 23 year old daughter also wants to do it, I'll let her know how it goes.

Unhappy Newbie

Hey everyone! I saw this forum while researching the Fat Smash Diet and are ready to start!! I hope this works for me because nothing else has lol. I am extremely frustrated because my diet consists of salads, veggies, chicken, oatmeal, soymilk, lots of green tea and the occasional turkey sandwich! Add this to a work out routine 6 days a week......and have not lost a pound since last summer......needless to say I am frustrated. Maybe some more small changes from this diet will do me good!!!

Hello everyone my name is Crystal and i have been on the diet for 2 days (detox) and I am dying I feel like a need meat.. But I have faith in myself and know I can do it. The reason why I am trying to lose weight is I feel like I am over weight and I need to better my health before i can start to have children . (which I hope will be soon because I am almost done with my schooling).. Anyways I just wanted to take this moment and introduce myself and see how everyone's diet has been going...
Hope to hear from you guys soon....

Smile Sort of a newbie also lol

Hello everyone. Im sort of a newbie as well. This is my first time using the forum, but not my first time on the fat smash diet. About two years ago I weighed 238lbs. I did the curves diet, which is the low carb diet, for about six months and dropped down to 202. When I went on vacation to Jamaica, I ended up putting back on most of the weight I had lost. I gained 25lbs. The weight gradually came back on because I was not going to the gym and I was eating white bread and pasta, sugar and all the bad stuff. I really did not like the Curves low carb diet because it was too restrictive. If you are one who like bread and pasta and other forms of carbs, the fat smash diet is just right. It does not deprive you of any foods.

Last year I started the fat smash diet after watching celebrity fit club and became motivated again to lost the weight. I was on it for three months and went from 227 and now I am 198. I have been having some lapses because in December my father became very ill, and it took a toll on me. I was so stressed I began eatting junk food ect...I am still currently 198 surprisingly, but I know I could have lost more. I am, determined to lose 58lbs and reach my goal of 145, so I am going back to square one on the fat smash diet. One thing for certain, I can honestly say this diet does work, but the first phase requires so much discipline. I have faith that everyone can get through it and meet their goal

I cheated a lot during my 9 days (I did eat cereal, ate a little whole wheat bread and drank diet soda a few days), but I lost 4 pounds, which is an amazing loss in 9 days for me. I think it's mainly due to the fact that I haven't eaten cheese, pizza or any desserts in a while. I also worked out 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes. I feel great. Also, while on my 9 days, I read the book "The China Study," which was a big motivator for me to not eat cheese and junk food.
