After much consideration, and not to mention years of failed attempts at other diets, I've decided to give the Fat Smash Diet a go round. It actually looks like a diet I can do, seeing as I don't eat meat in the first place. I'm starting phase 1 as soon as I get the book. I can't wait. I just got a membership at the local YMCA, so I'll definitely be working out as much as I can. I just hope I can restrain myself from eating junk food. Pizza and cookies are my weaknesses. I've actually eaten a whole box of cookies at one sitting. :eek:

Wish me luck. I've see lots of inspiring posts on here, and that is a big motivator. Thanks! :hug:

Welcome and Good Luck to ya. I also just started(again). I also have cravings. mine is a glass of wine which then turns into wanting more to eat to go with my glass of wine. ughhhh. Got rid of all the alcohol and am stocked up on tea for those stressful days.
But this time I have major motavation. We are going on a beach vacation this summer so i have to be able to get into a bathing suit.

I just started too. I'm on my 3rd day and so far so good. You aren't supposed to weigh yourself until the 10th day after Phase I but I weighed today and I've already lost 5lbs!!! You can do it! If I can, anyone can. I, too, have cravings...mostly at night though. I have a 2 year old and that makes it even harder sometimes just because of the things he eats. Good luck!

I just got the book, so tomorrow is day 1 for me. I have a habit of constantly weighing myself, so I'll have to restrain myself until day 10. I can't wait to see how this all goes.

I am on day 5 of the Fat Smash Diet. The first 2 days sucked so bad. I felt so weak. It does get easier. The only problem I was having was caffeine with drawls. I have had bad headaches everyday. I did break down today and bought a diet coke. I can feel my body already changing. I have lost in the past and gained it back. I am hoping this one will really teach me to eat better. I think what finally made me realize something had to change was when I tried on my beautiful wedding dress and couldn't get it zipped. I was crushed. I have been doing tae-bo and can already feel my body changing. I even tried my dress on again and can get it zipped almost all the way!!!! I'm glad I came across this website. It'll be nice to speak to others who are on this too. Have a great day everyone. I look forward to going through this journey with you! :)

Yeah, caffeine headaches are bad..lol. Congrats on the change! Hang in there, you can do it!! I found out to help with feeling weak is to be sure and get the rice and oatmeal in and space it out. Those carbs really help get you through the day.

Ahhh the oat meal . i have been avoiding that lol! Wasn't thinking it would taste to pretty. I may need to tho. I could do more rice tho. Thanks!

Remember, you can have up to 2 packets of splenda per day...I always put one in my oatmeal. It helps tremendously!!

You can also have cream of wheat or grits instead of the oatmeal. But... I do agree that the carbs are necessary to keep you energized.

Awesome- cream of wheat may be a good option for me too! Today was my day 1 - yep - caffeine headaches. I'm sure more to come tomorrow. We were out of splenda at work so I had to improvise in order to get the oatmeal down. You can also have 2 cups of herbal tea/day - I just happened to have apple/cinnamon. Guess what went in my oatmeal??? BUt hey - it worked! I also made a crock pot of veggie soup as outlined in the book, but I added 2 cups of brown rice. Whoa - I returned home at the end of the day and my "soup" was up to the edge of the crock pot! That rice really cooked up. It was so thick I had to dilute it! LOL I hope tomorrow goes a little more smoothly regarding food. So - iamsum1sbratt - when is the big day??

fatbgone the big day is March 10th! It's just around the corner! I am so excited!!! Good luck to you with FS. I am going into day 7 tomorrow. I can taste that chicken already! lol!!:carrot:

Day 1 Fat Smasher
 
Just starting the program today. Oatmeal and tea for breakfast. I missed my usual coffee. Will be good to get that out of my system. 9 days can't be that long. Will keep you posted on progress.:carrot:
