I just finished reading your post (the one just after mine...) sure you & Michele may have some Pecan Pie I plan on having a very small piece and then sharing it with my neighbors - don't want any sweets left in the house after Easter. I must stay On Plan so I stay well
I just got the Amber alert too! How very sad I could not imagine anyone coming into my home, muchless taking a child... what is this world coming to that you cannot feel safe in your own home... ... ...
It's Good Friday morning and I'm taking a few minutes before heading off to church. I find this day a hard one. I find it hard to imagine that someone would die for me - I am so grateful.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as we celebrate what Christ did for us.
We are having friends come to stay with us this weekend and then on Sunday we'll probably visit my parents. I am looking forward to having a great time with my friend. we plan to do a little shopping and lots of visiting. I miss her.
I've been doing great with the exercise and am really working on the WOE also. I am starting to feel the results including much needed energy.
Sunny: I really appreciate your prayers for me. I'm praying for exactly the same thing. I am not feeling stressed about this at all. If I don't get the position I'm okay with that and if I do I know I'll need to rely on HIM even more and I will do a good job. Thanks!

Gary: I always appreciate your words of encouragement! BTW, yes we do get the Apprentice here and I'm not in that league at all. I do enjoy watching it though - maybe I can glean some ideas!!!
teel - my prayers are with you. I pray that you find the healing and comfort you need for your spirit. I agree with Michele who suggested you call your pastor. Sometimes they get so busy with those who are "noisier" and miss those who fall in the cracks. No excuse though. HUGS!

Nope Michele...
not a bird definitely the deer... all three of them (Guido, Domino & Zeppe) were out talking to the deer and wanting to break out of the porch to get to them - believe me. You could even hear the deer talking to one another with this odd sound... it was so cool! They are sure beautiful!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Weekend. I know I did. I wondered whether I would be here alone with DH having to work but he ended up getting the whole weekend off. Our friends came and we had a wonderful visit with them. We also went to spend Sunday with my parents. My dad isn't doing so well. He's really aged since Christmas and was struggling to breathe. It's hard to see this happen. My mom is really struggling with it too.
Today is the big day for me when I find out whether I get the job or not. I'm still at peace about whatever decision they made but I'm still anxious to find out the answer. I'll keep you posted!
I ate a bit too much chocolate yesterday along with too much breads. My mom isn't the best cook and you have to eat what she puts on the table or she's really offended. Back to eating properly today though. No weight loss to report. It seems like I lose one week and nothing the next. As long as it keeps coming off I'll be okay with that.
