Asking if you all could just lift up my step-son (DS1). He said he had a job interview yesterday, but we haven't heard anything. He REALLY needs to get a permanent job with benefits and right now. He's been working off and on (part of it is his own fault due to loss of his driving license and car impounded), but has a wife and 4 kids to support. We are OUT of funds to support him (basically, we are out of funds, period, and just living paycheck to paycheck at this point), plus have 2 other boys to get through college. DS1 needs the job, some life focus, to understand that he's not the center of the universe and that he needs to step up and be the head of his family and a much better example for them, plus, he needs to start seeking God.
Another request is that DH must decide today whether to bid a different job at his plant. It really wouldn't mean more money, except that there could be more overtime, but we know we can't count on that. It would be a different manager, which might not be better, but probably wouldn't be worse. It would mean working in more close contact with one of the men who lied (and committed fraud) and tried to get DH fired last year, but, of course, in a plant of only 15 people, he's always working with those guys, so that may not make much difference. We just don't know what to do. The thing is that the job is the ONE job he's wanted for the last 13 years, since we had to transfer due to plant downsizing-it's the job he's most trained for and has the most talent for. He's already achieved journeyman status at his former plant, so there would be no training needed and he'd go in at full pay. What to do...what to do....?

Prayers continue for all. Bargoo and Rosebud are such special prayers warriors and encouragers to the rest of us. I pray they will feel our prayers surrounding them with His Love and peace and brings them back to us soon.

Hello all, just a quick note that Rosebud had her fourth day of chemo therapy and tomorrow will the last (at least for a while). She asked if everyone can pray for her lungs and her liver, the two areas with the cancer.

Yes, I agree with Ronni praying for God's healing touch on Rosebud's lungs and liver that the cancer will be destroyed, that He will heal and strengthen her and she will recover quickly and be back to us here on 3fc soon. She is much loved and missed.
