I talked a long time with my mother last night and my Dad is failing fast, she's seen a huge difference just since Thanksgiving and is quite upset/scared that he'll be gone before Christmas. (I'd love to jump in the car and head south right now, but I just can't.) I'll head to Massachusetts on Monday after school to spend a little time with them and to ask questions for them at Tuesday's appointment with the oncologist. They have a hard time asking questions and/or getting the doctors to explain things clearly. They say, "She's busy I don't want to take up too much of her time." or "He's a doctor, he doesn't know how to explain it so we can understand."
Please continue to pray for them - comfort for both of them, and that my Dad will make peace with God before he dies.
