:goldpot:HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY !!!:goldpot:
We've been wandering a bit this week; went out to our lot to see how much of the snow has melted, and today, we did our weekly shopping. Both days were warm and sunny (today +10c), which is magnificent for the month of March here! Indeedy, spring is on the way ... WILMA ~ prayers going up for you test tomorrow; you will ace it, I'm sure! AGGIE ~ so glad your wrist is better; thanks, DH's shoulder is much better too. It just needed plenty of good rest. The laneway was a sheet of ice when we went out this morning, so DH went out to scavenged some sand and came back with a pail to sprinkle all around to make it safer to get just from the house to the car. It has been melting during the day, but then freezing up each evening, which equals = slippery ice. Well, gotta go; things to do ... take good care! :hug:ROSEBUD:hug:^^prayers^^ ascending for you and yours .... PS ~ by dinnertime, the temps have risen to +15c or 55 F which is amazingly warm for March way up here. We all had a harsh winter, so the Lord is giving us all a real 'SPRING BREAK' ... (and it is spring break for the kids here this week as well). |
Hi everyone,
Crissy - 2 teeth pulled, yikes - have said a little prayer for him. :hug:Hope you have a great holiday! Rayne what a woman you are! Fantastic!:moped: Great news about you and Sue, Aggie - just no more stunts, somersaults etc!!!:D Glad your husband is getting better too Rosebud. Wilma go for it. You can do it!:cheer2: It has been so lovely here today! We actually have light mornings now and it was still light when I got in from work - it felt wonderful! The sunshine just seemed to cheer everyone up. :carrot: I'm looking at holidays to some of the Scottish Islands - it will be cold but beautiful. HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAVING A GREAT WEEK!!! Love and prayers to all. |
Hey everybody, just a quick one for the moment.
Thanks to all for the prayers, and Annie, no more stunts for me. Bev, You will be in my prayers, that healing is right around the corner, and your brother is in God's hands. Prayerfully, responses are on the way for him. Rosebud, thank for your prayers, they are always welcome, I need all I can get. I will be back later, stay blessed and Have a great rest of the day. Hugs, Aggie |
Aggie - LOL our scooters are electric and top out at 25 mph. It would be very, very difficult to get a speeding ticket on them ;) We have so many new folk,I will post a picture of me on the scooter last April.
http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/7...otingalong.jpg I should take a new one since I was about 20 lbs heavier back then. I didn't hit goal until July. Bev - LOOK at you - fantastic! Thanks for posting the pics. I'm impressed! Crissy - :woohoo: Florida for spring break! That is AWESOME. The kids will love it! And what a blessing to see your family! Rosebud - same here. My garage door freezes shut every night if I don't leave it open a crack. My garage floor is a skating rink. Stay safe - slips on the ice are awful! Annie-Rose - that sounds like a wonderful vacation! Take me  A beautiful 63F here today - with GLORIOUS sunshine. I think spring may have finally spung! :crossed: I gotta get outside and get some yard work done - too beautiful not to enjoy the day! Blessings to all! |
Crissy - sounds incredible! the trip to FL. give me a shout as you pass by me on 75 south... :) I'm so happy to hear from you!!!!!
mom is good. she is ready to retire. i got a B in statistics and have started my psych classes now... I haven't heard from Nita Ann either and have asked about her a few times. I hope she is ok. Dennis has a telephone interview with the ministry in Alabama that I am hoping he gets into. PLEASE BE PRAYING FOR THAT EVERYONE!!!!! Aggie - oh yeah, don't ya know?! :) |
I am far behind but still check in...working very long days right now.
Love the pics Prayers ~ Gary |
Laurie, you on the scooter, what a great picture;) and yeah, maybe you will not get a speeding ticket and that is good. What a great way to get around.:) Laurie, you do look good even if that was 20 pounds heavier. Laurie, what part of Michigan do you live in? My sis, Sue, lives in Southfield. She was also in education, teaching teachers and evaluating them, and she also was a Professor at a college there. The name slips my mind. Is there a Maryweather?? Could be wrong.:dizzy:
Bev, you in that welding suit, girl I tell you, you can do anything:carrot:. Even banged up, you are still getting your groove on. Still excerising, beat up and all. You go girl. Gray, still working those late days, ugh? Thank God for the work. My DH has been home since last Thursday. Work for him has gotten very slow. Hopefully, it will pick up before the week is out. Rosebud, I just realized, Canada. No wonder you are so cold. When my DH drove for FED-EX, they kept him in Canada. I would not see him for weeks on end. He said that the winters are horrible. I feel your pain. Praise God, spring will be here soon. Okay little darlin's, it is late, and I am going to hug my pillow. Till tomorrow, God Bless. Aggie |
I meant to thank Bargoo and Laurie for the compliments of my many talents...sometimes i get confused around here.
AND Aggie - I just saw your comment so i am editing to include you. You are so sweet and funny! i just love you I did the elliptical for 30 whole minutes today!!!!! God did it...cause the last time i tried, i thought i was gonna die after 10! Guess having Led Zeppelin in my ear works! :) I finally got below 160 for the first time in a year. 159.8! ok, so its only 2 ounces below, but that counts for me. I had a dream about my mystery man last night. He was so sweet and wonderful. Told me to pack cause he was taking me to California, to which I replied "with love in my eyes and flowers in my hair...i am going to california" :D one day...keep praying for his mom and her health issues. AND PLEASE pray for my bro Dennis tomorrow when he calls the Ministry in Alabama for an interview to be accepted. FAVOR! In Jesus name AMEN! I LOVE YOU ALL! oh...Laurie..LOVE the scooter! you look TOOOOOOOOO cute!!!!!! |
Good morning, everyone!
Crissy-glad to see you back and prayers for a wonderful, safe trip to Florida! My dad and most of the rest of the family also live far away and we only get to see them about every 2 years, so this is the year we're planning on going, if scheduling and finances work out ok. It's just a trip to Cincy area though, which is a long drive from N IA, but hoping to get to go to Kings Island sometime while we're there. Enjoy your family and the time together! Aggie-so incredibly sorry for your family's loss. I pray for your and Lou's families and the little boy and that they find whoever did this horrible act and get him off the streets. Wilma-prayers for your test today and the other stresses. I know you'll do great! Laurie-you look great on that :moped:! Gary-sorry you're working such long hours, but glad you can pop in from time to time. You're such an anchor for our group and so encouraging for the rest of us. Have a great day and say hi to Angie! It's been a rough couple days-spent too much time in the car-1st to Des Moines for the boys to give depositions related to our car accident(which was a waste of time for us and our attorney), then to MN for DH doctor appt. Riding in a car for long periods sure makes the back ache. This is supposed to be spring break, but no one's had any fun yet, so must try to correct that today and the rest of the week. Hope you all have a great day! You're in my prayers:hug: |
Thank you all for your prayers. Right now I feel really calm but it's only the morning. I have to get through my work day and then go to my exam. I feel good about how I studied so hopefully the questions will be ones I know the answers to!!
Today is weigh in day for me and I now weigh 162. That's only down 1 lb but it's still down and I haven't really had time to do any exercise. Now that I'm through studying I'll have more time and no more excuses!! Thanks again for all your prayers. I keep all of you in my prayers also. I'll post tomorrow again when I'll finally have some more time! Have an awesome day! |
Hi to all.
Bargoo, how's it going? Hope you are having a great day.:carrot: Bev, Wilma, and Laurie, I have got to get on track with this excerise thing, I really got to push myself to this, especially if I want to see results.;) And Bev, you better count those ounces, they are just like pennies, they add up.:carrot::carrot: I will praying for the mystery man and for his mom and her health issues. As for Dennis, he will be fine. If he gets this one great, and if he does not, then the Lord has something better in store for him. Okay Ronni, you have now taken care of all that important stuff as we say, now it is time for you and the family to have a little rest and fun.:cheer2::cheer3: You did say spring break, well that equals some fun for sure. So go play. Wilma, congrats in advance for passing your exam,:congrat: for I know that in my heart you already have. Everyone else, have a fantabulous day. New word for you guys, made up by ME.:woops:Hey guys, this is me trying to keep up with all of you exercise folks. LOL LOL Aggie |
Dennis got arrested today. They came before he was suppose to call for his phone interview. (the phone interview was for him to go to the substance abuse ministry place in alabama. he's worked so hard to get this interview. They help men with addictions/anger, etc. They have been known to have them come there instead of jail.) I'm guessing it was for the violation of probation that we were worried about when he got the dui. I had my ringer off and he left a voice mail. I got it 30 minutes later. My heart has been breaking ALL day! His little voice was just cracking on my voice mail and it was so sad. He asked for me to call Jennifer, the love of his life and his daughter's mother. I had to call mom and tell her. I can't stop crying. And I have homework due tonight.
Please be praying for him, for hope, peace, favor, comfort, joy. I still believe there is a better place for him, then jail. I know God has a plan and a purpose. Dennis may have done wrong, but come on! There are far worse people on the streets! Dennis never had parents that were there for him...neither of us did, but it affects every person differently. Pray for me and mom too...this hurts. sooooo bad. |
Aggie, I'm 200+ miles from Southfield. Way up here in the northern part of the lower peninsula.
I do get down that way to go to Trader Joe's. We don't have any up here and I LOVE that store! Bev  prayers ascending for your family! Congrats on your loss! Stick with your plan through this stressful time! Ronni - here's hoping the rest of the time is FUN!!!!! Enjoy - you deserve it! Wilma - with your schedule and stress, ANY loss is a success! Prayers continuing for all! Blessings!!! Laurie :scooter: |
Hello and good evening to all,
I pray all is well with everyone and if so please have a blessed evening. Bev, I am praying for you and please look for my PM I sent. You know Dennis and your Mom are in my prayers as well. It all will be alright, In Jesus Name. Love to all, Aggie |
Hello everyone! The exam is finally over and it was HARD! Now I'm praying that I passed and don't have to write it again. I did have to pray often through it for a clear head. I had worked all day and then spent 2 1/2 hours writing it. Right now I'm a little bummed but it is what it is! I do know that I studied really hard and hopefully that paid off in some way.
Now it's back to my real life!! We're expecting company this weekend and am looking for meals that will be healthy and tasty. Looking forward to relaxing with friends. Have a super day! |
