I would like to join you, if I may. I've been training in a Couch to 5K program, but on my alternate running days have not been doing ANYTHING! I would like to increase my cardio eventually to 5-6x a week and add weight lifting on my alternate days. So my plan would be to run 30-45mins on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; Run/walk 20 minutes and do weights for 30 mins (or longer depending on routine) on alternate days. For remainder of August, I am going to aim for 4x cardio and 2x weights to baby step into working out nearly every day.
8/15: Ran 24 minutes with interval walking. (2miles at 12 minute/mile)
Plan for tonight: Power walk / light jog 20minutes; strength training using body weight - pushups, crunches, leg work including squats and lunges.
