Good afternoon ladies!

What a busy day today and tomorrow is...this morning when I got home I had to bag my avon orders, then went to WW meeting, then to market, then prepare my food,etc.etc. Tomorrow I have to drive up north for a treatment meeting for my son (he is in residential care)...I am afraid no time for exercise. Is that awful? If I did it right when I got home, then I would be too energetic to get some sleep before going up North. Oh we will see.

What a wet, dreary day here as well....it is much needed, though.

Mooz..I would love to join you for 1 week...but dont know that I can do all of those things each day. I could do it if I really planned and had some notice!

Lauri,--I have the set of 3 Walk Off The Weight At Home...they are good! I do agree with Patty that they are not very hard workouts...which is good if thats what your looking for! I never gave any thought to long term goals..perhaps I should.

SEMO--I strictly work the 11pm - 7am shift. Right now it is almost 2:30 Pm so I will be going to bed momentarily! It sure can be a real drag. I hope I am able to move to the day shift in the future so I can live a more normal life!

Patty..I hope you get to feeling better soon and that when you go for your appt. they can give you some help with that!

It sounds like more than one person here has some back trouble. I do too! I have had problems with my back off and on..nothing diagnosed..for the past 8 yrs or so. I know it is from the work I do ( I am a CNA). In December I had to miss a week of work as I pulled a muscle in my back. It gets so tight and achey almost every day. And some exercises do bother it. So what are the stretching/yoga videos that I can do to help it?

Have a good rest of the day everyone! I am going to bed..dont know if I can post tomorrow as I will be up north for several hours and I also have to get sleep as I have to work tonight and tomorrow night! But I hope I can check in sometime on Friday!

~Barbara

Just wanted to say HELLO Jen..I guess we must have been posting at the same moment!

Hello Ladies
Came home this evening & I was tired, but I made myself walk 2 miles on the treadmill. I wasn't to hungary for dinner so I just had a bowl of oatmeal. I still have about 16 oz of water to drink to get to my 64 oz. I know I should be drinking more.
We'll I think I'm going to hit the sack, I'm hoping to eat up early & maybe do a tae bo tape...
talk to you all tomorrow...

mooz49 03-21-2002 02:45 AM

Good morning girls

The sun is shining here today although it doesn't look like it is an all day sunshine.:(
I think I did really well yesterday as I recorded everything in my journal, kept to my points, drank 1.5 litres of water, walked 2 miles and went linedancing last night and boy am I feeling good this morning :smug:
You would think that if I could do it one day that I could do it for the other six ;)
I think I probably have more time than most of you all seem to have as I don't work although I look after my mother ,who lives with us. Thank God so far she is easy to attend to and she is always in a good mood :D which makes life much easier. She will be 90 in August. She suffers from osteoporosis and that is one of the reasons that I need to keep exercising so that I can remain :strong:
Anyway I must run and get a shower before my youngest gets up for school.

Good Morning Ladies and Happy Thursday!

Mooz, sorry to hear about your mother. Your right about getting the exercise and don't forget to take extra calcium. That is a must for all women. BTW a big STAR for you on doing so well yesterday, great job.

Having yet another rainy, cold day. Gosh if this weather ever dries you may not hear from me for weeks.:( No, I'll make it a point to at least jot a line or two.

Patty, will your work slow down or do you stay busy all the time? Hope that you are feeling much better today.

Hello to Barbie, Jen and Lauri. Big boss is here today..so I gotta run.

(wispering) I'll be back later.

Jehari 03-21-2002 10:49 AM

Just popping in real quick. I have a MEGA busy day today.
I did my new Crunch Boot Camp video yesterday. OUCHIE!! I've got some sore muscles today, but I really liked it. I think I only have time for the 8 minute Tae Bo today. Like I said, I have so much to do today and tomorrow, you might not hear from me for a day or two, so I hope everyone is doing well.
Talk at ya later,
Jen

Good Afternoon Ladies
Semo - The work load depends on the weather... When the weather is real cold or real hot (over 100) the power plants are usually on a "hands off" so no maintenance is done, that means no parts are being used or bought. But when the weather is mild usually spring & fall, that is when they bring units down & do maintenance. We have 15 plants & 3 lignites... & unfortunately they all try and do maintenance during March - May... & then again Sept. - Nov. So those are my busy times.

Anne - you are so right in exercising. My mother is 70 years old & she goes line dancing 3 times a week & walks the other two days. She can run circles around me. Exercise is the key to keeping our bones healthy...

Jen - Check in when you can.

Hope everyone is having a good day..

mooz49 03-21-2002 07:21 PM

Hi girls.
Hope you are all keeping well. I can not stop long as it is after midnight and I really need my beauty sleep
I had another good day but the weekend is coming up and that is when I will be tested :o
OK will talk to you all in the morning

Good morning ladies.;) Hopr you all are feeling in good form today.
I had about 6 hours beauty sleep - need much much more
Hoping to stick to points today but I am feeling like eating something at the moment and I only had my breakfast about an hour ago :o I suppose this is when I should go and have a glass of water :D
My two who are at university get their Easter holidays today and I will probably not be able to call in just when I like as there is usually a big demand for the computer :( but it will be nice to have them home (for a wee while) :dizzy:
Must rush and make my daughter's lunch for school.
Will hopefully get calling later.

Happy Friday Morning. We are busy here at work today, and I was hoping that I might get to leave early today. Dang it. I have such a good boss, he lets me pretty much do as I please, but then I try not to take advantage of him. ;)

I won't be around this weekend to check in as we are going to Nashville. So I'll be back on Monday. So  just in case I don't get back.

Semo - Have a safe trip, Hope you enjoy your visit.

Anne - I'm sure it will be nice to have all the kids home. I'm sure they'll be happy to have some home cook meals as well.

talk to you later..

mooz49 03-23-2002 03:52 AM

Good morning Patty, Jen, Lauri, Barb and Semo ( you lucky thing - heading off to Nashville) Hope you have a safe journey.
It is another nice morning here today. :)
You ladies will be starting to think that the weather is always nice in Ireland :?: Well it's not true.
I am so proud of myself as I have kept to my points, exercised and watered myself properly for 3 days :smug: I forgot to journal yesterday but I know exactly what I ate and I will write it down this morning That is a record for me and all I have to do is cope with today and tomorrow as that is where the challenge will test me most.
Must run now. Hope you ladies have a wonderful weekend.

Just wanted to pop in and say HI to everyone! It has been a hectic couple of days, and the next few aren't looking much easier. I woke up feeling lazy and unmotivated, but managed to make myself do my exercise anyway, and I'm glad I did. I feel so much better for having done it. Otherwise I'm sure I'd have just sat around like a big 'ol lump all day.
I've been doing my new Crunch Boot Camp video. It is only 30 minutes, but MAN does it make you sweat! My muscles feel like shakey jell-o when I'm done.
Anyhoo, I'm off for now. I check in again when I can.

IndyLauri 03-24-2002 08:47 AM

hello!! Yesterday I received my Leslie Sansone Video, so far I really like it! I also bought a new bicycle which I love!! It's hot pink LOL! ( I live in a house with my husband and our 2 sons, so I buy pink stuff to keep them from using it LOL!!)
And I even bought a helmet to set a good example. ;-)
I rode for awhile yesterday and my bottom is sore from the seat. Hope to get used to that right quick.
May I just interject: "Go Hoosiers!!" As you can tell from my nickname I am from Indiana, even though I live in Wyoming at the moment!
Jehari, how's the back coming along?
Semo, have fun in Nashville!! I haven't been there in 30 years.
mooz: Top O' the Morning to ya! ;-)
hey 1 day!!! How have you been doing?
Barb: the Walk Away.. video I bought is 4 miles. (eek!) She also throws a little jogging in for torture, er I mean good measure.
bye girls!!
have a great Sunday!!

mooz49 03-24-2002 10:34 AM

Good afternoon Jen, Lauri, Patty, Barb and Semo

Why is it that at weekends it is so difficult to keep in control? :(
I was at an Ann Summers party last night and had a few fattening nibbles that I did not need at all. :o
Today I ate an apple and cream puff and a chocolate iced bun that had been begging me to eat them since yesterday.:^:
So now I need to stop before I get totally out of control again.
It really helps to get me motivated when I come on to this thread and read about the exercise that you girls are doing.
I can't do my Tae Bo as there are too many in the house today but I hope to go for a couple of two mile walks.
Will call in later if I get a chance.

Hello Laurie and Anne!

My back is coming along nicely. It still gives me a little twinge here and there, but it isn't slowing me down anymore. I feel much better!!

I tried the other Crunch video that I bought today. This one is called Cardio sculpt. It's another tough one. I got really sweaty and my muscles feel like limp noodles again, but I really like this one too. I think I may have to invest in a couple more of those Crunch videos. I hope to start seeing some shrinkage in the inches soon. I can't hope for too much loss on the scale I guess if I'm building muscle, but I need to see results SOMEWHERE!!

Anyhoo, I'll talk at ya later,
Jen

Were is everyone else today???

mooz49 03-25-2002 03:52 AM

Good morning girls.
Weather is wet and miserable here today but I musn't let it get me down as I need to get right back on track after the weekend.
;)
Jen - glad to hear that your back is much better and that you are able to do your exercises again :strong:
Lauri - I take it "Hoosiers" are a football from Indiana and that they have won a game of some sort! :?: Glad you like your bike - I never could get the hang of riding a bike properly. :(
Gotta rush off now - will call later.

Good Morning to all! Hubby and I had a fun time in Nashville, we went to a hockey game Saturday nite. Nashville won so that was great. We went by to see the kids new house and it is wonderful, and in a great neighborhood. We gave them their wedding gift (cash) so they were thrilled and will purchase some things that they are needing. I plan to go back on Thursday, May 2nd and help with moving. The movers will be there but I can help clean everything and unpack kitchen boxes as they are so busy. I'm very pleased with my future DIL, we love her more each time we are together. Hope I make a good MIL. ;)

Really didn't do to bad eating, oh I could have ate less but think that I stayed within limits. No exercise to speak of other than walking around a mall.

Today is the end of this months closing so I have to run and get those last invoices through. Have a great day.

BTW, it's raining here again too. The weekend was beautiful, we had to wear our sun glasses all the time. (we felt like moles after so many cloudy days)

Hugs.

1day@atime 03-25-2002 02:08 PM

Good Afternoon Ladies
I had a busy & fattening weekend. I ended up buying some easter egg candy & what do you think happened. I ate the whole bag. Then I felt so guility I opened the other bag & ate some of that too. I finally threw the rest away. Other than the candy I ate pretty good. I did not exercise though. I have got to get back on track.

Semo - I'm glad to hear you had a great trip. I'm sure your son finds it comforting to know you like his fiance. Why are they in Nashville?

Anne - the Hoosier are a college basketball team. In the sports world this month is know as "March Madness" about 64 college teams play in a tournment & it ends up with 4 top teams one from each region..this is know at the "Final Four". The Hoosiers made it to the final 4. It is a big thing if your into basketball. I'm sure Lauri can tell you more.

Lauri - You might look into getting a bike seat cover. You can get them in the sporting good stores, the seat covers have gel in them & they make riding more comfortable.

Jen - I'm glad to hear your back is feeling better. Keep up the exercise & you'll start to see the results..

well I need to run...talk to you all later..

mooz49 03-26-2002 02:40 AM

Good morning to all you girls.
Semo glad you had a good time in Nashville and I'm sure you will make a brilliant MIL
Guess what? The sun is shining here again today although it is frosty.
I weigh in tonight and I am sure I would have done well if it had not been for the weekend which probably undid all my good work from the three days before.:o
Gotta rush now and get a shower before I get my youngest up for school.
Will call later.

IndyLauri 03-26-2002 09:42 AM

Patty, very impressive on the basketball knowledge!! I KNEW I liked you!!! Being in Texas, though, you probably know more about football.. or this that just an evil stereotype?
Well, I am on the ball today, I went out at 6 AM and rode my bike on the greenway. It was a little chilly, but that's what long johns are for LOL!!! I saw a fox too!! He was very cute. He came running out of the brush by the pond and scared the living **** out of me! I thought it was a dog, and I am afraid of strange dogs. Why do I never have my camera when I need it?

SEMO, I bet you are a wonderful MIL. I adored mine from day one. She was actaully my husbands step-mom, his mom had died when he was only 15. :-( When we first met she was dating my FIL and I was dating my husband. She passed away in 1998 and I still really miss her sometimes. My own mom is a good MIL too. I think she's a better MIL and grandma than a mom LOL!!
MOOZ, I have to tell you, you crack me up!! I love starting my mornings by reading what you all have had to say!

Jehari: Do you have a pair of pants that are perhaps one size too small? This is a good way to measure your progress when the scale is being a total pain. After couple of weeks or so try the pants on, eventually they will fit to perfection.
Well, ladies. gotta get ready for work!
geez, I was a windbag today1
Lauri

SEMO 03-26-2002 09:58 AM

Good morning ladies!! I haven't hit a lick of exercise since Saturday morning. I don't know if it's because of Aunt Flow visting or if it's medical but I have this really bad pain in my lower left side. It just jabs then before I can say ouch it's gone. If it doesn't go away after my time of the month then I guess I need to go have it checked. Ugh....

I've been following a really low carb diet for a week and I think that It has helped get my weight lost going again. Sometimes I think that you just have to do something different because your system gets accustomed to what you do every day. Does that make any sense?

It rained all day yesterday then just poured last night. I am so ready for spring, the temps are pretty chilly too.

Lauri, do you live in a rural area? We see fox every once in awhile. Farmers usually don't want them around because they make dens and equipment can drop through them causing damage. We have a lot of wildlife in this area, love to see them.

Well better run, talk to ya later. ((hugs to all))

mooz49 03-26-2002 06:35 PM

Hi all - just calling in before I go to bed.
I went to WW tonight and lost 2 pounds so I am feeling quite pleased with myself. :smug:
Lauri you certainly are keen - out at 6 AM riding your bike! :strong:
Semo I think you are right about doing something different to get the weightloss going again. I really need to start and eat a bit more of a variety of food instead of my usual meals.
Must get to bed now as I really need my beauty sleep!;)
Night night all

mooz49 03-27-2002 02:44 AM

Good Morning Lauri, Semo, Patty, Jen and Barb.
It's a beautiful morning here in Ireland and I am feeling in control.:smug: That's what its all about girls.
I forgot to tell you that I went to a keep fit class on Monday night at our local recreation centre and boy am I suffering for it now. The muscles in the front of my thighs are so sore when I walk and especially when I sit down or get up. :( The squats did that! I really impressed myself by doing 19 pressups and I mean the proper ones - keeping the body straight. It must be a combination of the Tae Bo, the weights and The Ab Slide that have helped me there. :strong: I have never been able to do pressups before.
As you probably have guessed I gotta rush now and get to the shower before I get my youngest up for school.

Good Morning All. The sun is shining here but yet the temp is cool. ........Where the heck is everyone?

I'm taking off at noon today, my house needs some tender loving care and the kids are all coming in this weekend so I need to get some things done. Bridal shower is this weekend too plus cooking for Easter Sunday.

My side is much better this morning, so I hope by tomorrow I'll be back to exercising. I'm hoping that it's a sign that my TOTM will soon be over. That's about the only thing that I look forward to that comes with old age. :dizzy:

Barb, don't quit us, if you stop posting you will stop trying!!

Patty, Lauri, and Jen: Know that your busy but drop in long enough to say hello.

Mooz: Love to see your post when I sign on first thing in the AM.

I got my hair cut last night, I now have a short, spikie do. I normally wear my hair pretty short but had let it grow for a couple of months. Anyway when I got to the beauty shop we decided to try something very different. I wanted to try a new cut way before the wedding so if I hated it I would be able to have time to grow it back. The front is smooth but the back and sides are kind of spiked out. I've become a RISK taker.

Better run, chat later.

Good Afternoon Ladies
Sorry I didn't post yesterday, it was a busy day, by the time I got home, did some laundry, walk the dog, walk on treadmill, I was too tired to log on. My doctor appointment is today with the GI specialist. I don't think i'll get any answers today.
IndyLauri - I"m actually a baseball fan. We have the Texas Ranger here. Living in Big D we have everything. We have pro football, basketball, hockey, baseball, 2 soccer teams, 1 minor hockey & baseball league. So if you a sports fan, there always something going on. I can't believe you got up at 6am, to go bike riding that is great... YOU GO GIRL....

Semo - sounds like you have your hands full this weekend. Luckily i'm going to my mom's but i am bringing the ham... a Honey Baked ham that is, so all i have to do is pick it up... I asked her if anyone asks what to bring, to suggest something low cal for me.

Anne - WAY TO GO on the 2 lb loss... Don't you feel just great when your in control. I know on those days, I feel like I can take on the world. I meant to ask you what is a "Ann Summers" party?

We'll I guess I better get going, since i'm leaving work early today..Is everyone off this friday for Good Friday. I am, so i'm planning on sleeping in late.

talk to you all later

IndyLauri 03-27-2002 08:08 PM

hi y'all!!!
Patty, my mom used to live in the Big D from about 1981 until about a year ago when she retired. She worked at Trammel Crow.
I visited her a few times down there. Went to the State Fair in 1987 and had a blast! She's back in Indiana now.
you ever eat at Rudolfos? (sp) great mexican food. mmm mmm She also took me to a cowboys game and a rangers game. Too fun!!!
Where is Barb?
Semo your hair sounds wonderful! I wish I had the nerve to do something like that. My hair was always short when I was little because it's curly curly and mom hated it. (she still does) now I wear it long because I can.. but it's usually in a french braid or a bun or something.
Hey mooz and jehari!!
Jehari, have you heard from your hubby? How's he doing?
Mooz, again, I love your wonderful sayings and I too enjoy seeing them first thing in the AM.
you all have a wonderful evening and hopefully I can ride again i the AM. I skipped this morning, it's waaaaaaaaaaay windy here today!! Trees were sideways!!
take care

mooz49 03-28-2002 03:04 AM

Good morning girls. You will all be wanting to come to Ireland for you holidays cause guess what - the sun is shining here again this morning.
Semo - I know everyone else probably knows (but I don't:o ) what is a bridal shower?
Your hairdo sounds great ;) Don't you think as you get older that you get more adventurous and don't really mind what other people think? It's none of their business anyway - it's your life and you do what you want. When you get to our age you realize that life is too short to be living it as a fuddy duddy!

Patty - How did you get on with your specialist today? Hope everything goes OK.
An Ann Summers party is a ladies underwear party. They are a bit naughty :o but are only a bit of fun. My mother would be shocked though. They start off with a few silly sexy games and then they show the underwear and some gadgets!! - I shall not go into detail here :o I shall just say that I did not buy any underwear as I did not like any of it and it is expensive and I definately did not buy any gadgets. I just bought some perfume that I thought one of my daughters would like.

Lauri - Hope it is not too windy today for you to go for your bike ride :dizzy: That is a brilliant way to get exercise and also get fresh air as well. :strong:

Jen - Are those kids keeping you from sleeping again?
:( How's your back now?

Barb - Call in when you can.

Good Morning Ladies. My mood is always better when the sun is shinning.

Mooz: A bridal shower is much the same as a wedding shower, sometimes they are more for the bride. "To shower with gifts"

Patty: Hope that you will receive good news from your tests. Why is it that losing weight sometimes aggravates or causes symptoms?

Jen: I was wondering too if you have heard from DH. How long before he finishes boot camp?

Luari: Anyone else riding bikes with you? Would be great if you could pick up a partner or do you enjoy the piece and quite ride by yourself?

Barbie: We're missing ya!

Better get to work..... One day they may find out that this office can run without me.

Jehari 03-28-2002 11:47 AM

Here I am!!

Sorry I have been gone so long. I'm not having such a good week! I was just so busy with appointments and running around, then came that TOM, and now I am sick to top it off. I've had a very "if it can go wrong, it will go wrong" kind of week. I could tell you about it, but I just don't think any of you have that kind of time!

Well, the good news is that my back is 100% better now and isn't bugging me a bit.

I usually only hear from my DH once a week. He writes on Sundays and the letter usually gets here Friday, so I hover over my mailbox on Fridays. He has been gone 4 weeks as of today. I miss him SO much. I got the invite to his graduation. It's May 8th, so I have GOT to get back with the program here. After graduation, he's off to AIT for another 12 weeks. We hope to be able to move to where he is sometime in August.

Anyhoo, I am short for time as usual, but I wanted to pop in and let you all know that I didn't fall of the planet or anything.

Talk at ya later,

Good Evening Ladies
We'll I went to the doctor yesterday, & he thinks It might IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrom) They don't know much about it, or what causes the flareups. It can be very painful, but it is not life threatening. We're thinking it could be stress related. I do have a sonogram scheduled for next week, to see if I have gallstones, but he really thinking it the IBS. I guess for me it's a relief, of knowing i'm not dying(you know how your mind wanders)... Anyway for now he's given me 2 prescriptions that should help, & he said to just continue to do what I normally do. I'm going to look up IBS on the internet & see what I can find.

Semo - I forgot to comment on your hair cut. I admire you. I have always wanted short hair, but i'm too afraid to get it cut. Right now I have brunett hair, with hi-lites & its sits right at my collar. I had always told myself that when I do lose the 40 lbs, that i'm going to get my hair cut that short.

Jen - I know it has to be hard running the household. Hey it's hard for me to run my household and it's just me :dizzy: Hey were here for you, if you need to vent, cry, or just anything. I know it can be hard when your missing your sweetheart...

Anne - I've been to one of those parties. The games were fun & silly. Are the kids coming home for Easter?

Lauri - Be careful when riding your bike, we don't want you to blow away:)

We'll ladies it's thursday night, i'm going to take it easy, pay some bills, tomorrow is a holiday for me.. so i'm planning on sleeping in late, then cleaning house. I'm wanting to see that new movie "Panic Room" so maybe I can get out and do that.
Talk to you all tomorrow.

mooz49 03-29-2002 04:35 AM

Good morming girls.
As usual the sun is shining here today.;)
I had a 'lie in ' today until 8.30 and I really needed that extra hour and a half in bed.

Patty - I'm sure you are relieved to find out what has been giving you grief. A good friend of mine has IBS and she blames stress and certain foods can set it off also so keep an eye on what you eat.
Isn't it strange that whenever we feel the slightest thing wrong with us we immediately think the worst.

Jen - boy you are having a bad week :( I'm sure you really miss you hubby when things go wrong but sure it won't be long now till May and you are going to look so good for him :strong:

Semo - hows the new hair do fairing? Does the family like it?

Lauri - Wow you do have some energy - riding and skipping - makes me tired just thinking about it.

My two from university will be home at Easter. One is already home and my son should be home today.
It is hard to keep on points when the kids are all home as they are always looking for something to eat and you need to have so much food in the house and I am the one who is sooooooo easily tempted.

Gotta rush off now and get a shower.

Have a good day everyone and I hope to call later.

Hi it's me again. Just called in to share something with you all - my son sent this to me in an e-mail.

The Rope

There were 11 people dangling from a rope over a cliff.
Ten were men and one woman. They all decided that one person should get off because if they didn't the rope would break and everyone would die. No one could decide who should go so finally the woman gave a real touching speech saying how she would give up her life to save the others, because women were used to giving up things for their husbands and children, giving in to men, and not receiving anything in return. When she finished speaking, all the men clapped.
Never underestimate the power of a woman.

"What you ardently desire will ultimately come to pass."

Good Morning, no holiday for me. The kids are coming in today along with the youngest girlfriend. They have dated all through high school and college. She has had a "no so good child hood" parents divorced when she was young kind of shifted from here to there. Her mother moved to Florida, so she really doesn't have family here anymore and stays with us a lot. Anyway we will have a lively household this weekend. Know what you mean about the grocery bill going up when they are at home!!

Patty, I hope that you will have good luck with the prescriptions and that it will be as simple as that to make you feel better.

Hi to Lauri, Jen and Barb.

Oh, hubby's first response to the hair cut was.... and I quote "it looks all sticking out" :^: MEN YOU GOTTA LOVE EM! I can't seem to get it to stick out as far as it was at the beauty shop. I think that after my perm loosens it will work better. I bought some of this STUFF (slime) to rub on the ends of the hair to make it stick out. BTW I'm only doing it in the back and sides, I can just imagine what you all are visualizing. :dizzy: Actually it looks cute even for an old dame! (And believe me, I'm about as conservative as they come......)

Good Afternoon Ladies
We'll I was planning on sleeping in late, then my mother called to say..."I didn't know you were off today", so after that, I cooked up some oatmeal & ate breakfast in bed as I watched the news. Today I plan on cleaning house & doing laundry, that way I'll have both sat & sunday free. We'll just a few minutes ago, I got a phone call from work, & luckily I can log in from here, so i'm helping a location find a part. I also have some flowers I need to plant, I bought them last week, & just haven't found the time to do it. I think i'll put that on my sat. schedule. I just love working with flowers, I just wish I could keep them alive. :D
I know when I go to my moms there are always lots of goodies in the house. She always has a freshed baked cake, or some other type of goodie.

Semo - I know what you mean on the grocery bill. Every summer my cousin & his family come up and visit. I try not to keep chips or cookies in the house, and before they visit, I usually run to the grocery store & buy things that the kids would like... my bill is always high, but it's worth it. The kids are just great.

Lauri - Jen - I hope you all are having a great day.

It's a beautiful day here in Dallas, I think the high for today is around 75, but we're suppose to get rain storms tonight.

gotta run... talk to you all later

Grocery list is not very healthful looking this week, since I am working all hours, and my husband and sons will be fending for themselves. They do good though LOL
Hope you all have a Happy Easter!!
