Hi everybody, and welcome back old friends! I walked 2 miles today on the bike trail. I'm up to 11.5 this month. I'm trying to figure how I'm going to walk after work with the time change. My options are to change my schedule, going in a half-hour or more earlier, so that I can leave in time to get in a walk, or to just do outdoor walking on the weekends and indoor walking (Leslie and George) during the week.

Hey all! It's great that you guys have been starting to walk more and getting some in. I haven't walked in like a week , but I *am* watching my calorie intake a lot better than when I was walking. I weighed myself today and I am down 4 more pounds! (I to weigh myself a few times to believe it )

Three miles walking on the bike trail. I'm at 16.5 now. Woohoo! After foot troubles in October, I finally feel like I'm getting my stride back.

Just over two weeks until we leave for Disneyland ( )... and I *SO* can't wait! This is the first real vacation DH and I have taken together and it's so much more exciting that we decided to wait until DD could come with us! So yup, it's like our honeymoon (only a yr and a half late) and family vacation all in one!

So today I stepped on the scale and it read 140... quite happy about that! But to be honest, this is usually the point I give up and then gain back another 5-7lbs. And start the battle all over again. I just can't seem to shed those last 10. They really are the hardest. Oh well.

Sounds like everyone is doing crazy-awesome! Good work, ladies! Congrats, as well, on the losses! Keep on truckin', girls!!!

Anyway, I have to go get DD ready for dance class. Have a HAPPY and HEALTHY day! Type you later!

Walked another 4mi today... bringing my monthly total (including those that I hadn't logged on here) to 16. Will put another 4 in by the end of the week. I think I'll set my goal for 30 (pretty good for cooler months, I think).

I can't believe there's just over a month until Christmas. Man alive. Time is just zoomin' by! Unfortunately I won't have time enough between now and our departure to Calif. to get any gift shopping done, but I am determined to get all the Christmas cards written out and addressed. Perhaps I'll start on that tonight. How's everyone else fairing on their holiday to-do list?

Glad to hear that you are all keeping well and staying OP! Congrats to ALL of you for your continued dedication! Keep up the great work, ladies!

Sure hope you're all having a wonderful day. Stay HAPPY and HEALTHY! Best wishes to each of you.

Default Hey all, another walker here!

Hi Ladies, mind if I join you? I used to post on this thread waaaaaaaaaaaay back in 03 and early 04. I kinda slacked off on the walking for the past year and boy does it show . But I got my butt back to WW last week Tuesday and am currently in week 2. Walking is my main source of exercise so if y'all don't mind I'll be posting a bit in here.

Let's see, I don't really have a mileage goal, but I do want to at least walk 5x a week. I average a route of 3.25-- 3.5 on weekdays, then 5.5 on Sunday morning. I have a 6 mo. old puppy that I'm trying to get trained enough on a leash so my son can walk her himself. He's 6 so he doesn't have much patience with a wayward dog sniffing around too much.

Well, just wanted to say hello and hope to chat w/you ladies a little more. Have a good one.
