I am going on a road trip in a few hours so my walking time was cut in half today. but I wanted to get something accomplished. If I don't walk, I slip up on my eatting. I walked 2 miles today. 27.5/90 accomplished for the month.
WOW! Everyone is doing great! I'm back from my trip and proud to report that I walked 3 days out of 5 while I was away...a total of 5 3/4 miles. I used the treadmill in the hotel one day, but I just really hate treadmills, so I walked outside the rest of the time. Sad to report, though, that it seems I gained 2 lbs, but now that I'm home I can get back into a routine.
After being a slug yesterday, I hopped out of bed this morning, got my walking stuff together, and drove to the bike/ped trail. I walked for 50 minutes, a little over 2 miles. I'm at 14 for the month so far.
Wow, so many newbies since I posted last! A big WELCOME to you all! Can't remember who said it but yes, it is never too late to start walking!
I am happy to see everyone doing such an awesome job with their walking! ladies!! Here's to a new week I passed my scheduled miles and did a total of 19 for the week (Mon.-Sat, I don't walk on Sunday) Am getting closer to that goal and just may have to up it a little next month!

Got fitted in new shoes and orthotics, so hopefully they will do the trick.
Hello Walkers!!! I am new to this site, and very excited about tracking my miles....I use the watp tapes, I have walked 36 miles, and have a goal of 100 miles for Oct. I did watp 4 miles today.
