You can pick up a marathon training plan at either www.runnersworld.com or www.coolrunning.com. I've been building up my mileage over the last year, and the amount of time it takes to train probably depends on your base mileage. My only advice is to build really slowly. I wasn't able to run the first marathon I trained for because I got a stress fracture in my foot at pretty much the last minute.
I don't mind mornings so much, but I HATE cold. That is the worst!


I had to get outside and take advantage of the 15C weather... Last night I went out with a teacher from school we did 8k, it was 8C with a nice breeze the wind wasn't bad here till around 10pm... I enjoyed having a partner I was surprised I could actually talk and run at the same time
