Philly - I was a theatre major, however today I switched to Communications in media with a minor in Theatre My theatre classes are very time consuming, and the department has just started working on a showcase of 30 separate 40-minute plays. So I've got meetings with my directors as well as scene partner for my Acting class Plus I'm involved in a couple organizations ^.^
Today's workout was great ^.^ I changed my C25K so that the 2 minute interval is 1:30. It got too easy too quickly, even with upping the speed! And I did some strength training, but not everything. I'm gonna do a few at-home strength things in the morning before class
Wow, how exciting! You sure do have a full plate. I haven't really commented on your workout because I know nothing about speed intervals and running. I do know that it is intense so I read with envy, but root for your accomplishments.
Thank you Philly it is pretty full, but definitely manageable ^.^ The running intervals are just a personal thing for myself to measure my length of running and such ^.^ And thank you, again
novangel I packed my scale up the other day. I decided I'm not weighing myself for a few months.
I did end up doing Breathless Body with Amy Dixon yesterday. I skipped the cool down and did an extra ten minutes on the spin bike. Legs are really sore today.
I don't know what I'm going to do today, something gentle.

Bodystrike was fun. I like that the bodystrike workouts focus a lot on strength and control. It's helped my form and posture a lot.
I'm not sure what clarification you're needing about my energy though?
music, my workouts are going well. My plan is Jillian Michaels new 90 day program and she kicks my butt on a daily basis with one day of rest.
novangle, it will happen in time.
bunneh, I don't know...probably was going to add to it and loss track. Sorry about that.
Well I will have to get my workout after work. I wanted to do it before work, but after eating at 8pm and letting it digest before I went to bed cut into my normal bedtime. I felt really full after dinner so stayed up for a bit and didn't go to bed till midnight. Needless to say the alarm clock was not a welcomed chime this morning. Tonight will be workout 1 from the program.
EDIT--Workout completed for the day. Tonight was workout 1 from body revolution. Tomorrow is workout 2.

It's almost 7am and I have just enough time to get in my workout and do a mad getting dressed dash to get out of the house on time for work. I can't say that I like working out in the morning, but I know that I will do food shopping later and fitting in exercise will become an issue. Therefore, I'm up to get it in.
novangel, I felt the same way about it being quiet. Are you stretching? What do you think about doing it every other day to get a bit of recovery in? Meaning do shred and alternate with another form of cardio and see how that goes for a week.

LOL...heck yeah its Friday! I've been waiting for this day all week.
I posted this in the Jillian Revolution thread, but I want to know if you guys have any pointers too.
GROUP QUESTION:
I must have the upper body strength of an infant cause I just can't do them. They feel uncomfortable to do and I'm very unsuccessful. I know I just started, but it is a move that's in other workouts too.
Anybody have any pointers for doing pushups or is it just practice makes perfect?

As far as push-up's go I find those by far the hardest exercise to do. I say practice makes perfect and do them on your knees instead of your toes until you're ready.
I could incorporate some Yoga inbetween 30DS but when I say "painful" I mean hard, not literal pain.
After 4 days in a row I am taking a night off. See everyone tomorrow..hopefully. I think a few have fallen off the wagon because it's too quiet around here all of a sudden.
I've just recently gotten to the point where I can do push ups on my toes. My suggestion is to start on your knees and just keep trying, you'll build strength in time. Also go slow and focus on having really good form - even if they're going faster in the video and you end up doing fewer. Quality is definitely more important than quantity when it comes to strength work.
Today I did Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 1 plus Ab Burner then about 30 minutes of yoga.

That's great! She's a really motivating person ^.^ I hope they continue well
Well, this morning I weighed in at 178.4 So I'm getting some progress =D Today's workout was 25 minutes of walking at 5m/h on the treadmill and strength. My energy was lower today and I'm excited to not have classes for a week xD
I'm feeling very discouraged because I'm not seeing the scale move at all. I refuse to quit but I feel like I'm on a mission with no reward. Raging plateau. I have a feeling it will be a month before the scale starts to move, if not I will have a stronger body and heart I guess. Better than doing nothing.
